Loved the history of this train station. Also the pictures and maps in the station that appears to still be used today.
The attendants were forwarding, with a smile, and useful in their suggestions, including the handing out of ample and well thought out documentation and maps. Within 15 minutes, I knew how to organize myself for the 4 days stay and turn it into a success.
So great to have the visitor center in a real working old depot. Great to see how train stations worked back then and picked up great info for places to see in Flagstaff. Friendly staff
Don't miss stopping here, lots of info and guidance. with all the sites to see you should not miss anything in Flagstaff and surrounding areas.
Large building for a visitor center, staffed by old folks and they were very friendly. No educational terminals or the like, just a place to ask for info.
Can't say enough the staff went out of their way to assist and the information they provided was greatly appreciated. Give the staff top marks for assistance well done
We were traveling through Flagstaff on our way to Sedona, stopped in to ask how to spend a couple hours wisely. The girls were extremely friendly and helpful. The pointed out a few key places and made lunch suggestions. Definitely worth a stop for information.
The ranger on duty on Jan 1 was very helpful. His knowledge of the area, and up to date information helped us plan our trip the sunset crater and Wupatki monument
It was very nice to stop in and see what Flagstaff has to offer. The people at the center were very helpful in finding me a nice restaurant nearby.
This is in part of the original Flagstaff Train Station. This station is very active with many long freight trains making a pass through here. You can stop in and get some great tour tips but also sit outside a bit and watch the trains passing.
