It had a very pretty gift shop and if you are a gardener or work in your yard you would enjoy otherwise you can skip it.
I love this place! Yes I am a gardener and I bought at least a dozen packets of seeds. There is a great selection of native, organic and non gmo varieties. Can't wait to get home and start my Laura Bush petunias. The fields were not in bloom so I WILL be returning to see the spectacle in a few weeks!
Even though it was cold outside, inside was warm and friendly. great gift selections as well as plants and pottery.
Simply beautiful in the spring with fields of wildflowers. The wine bar and store are fun to browse through and all employees are will informed and helpful
Wasn't sure what to expect but my wife wanted to go. I think I enjoyed it more than she did. There is lots to see and do here
Had been here before in the summer which is probably the best time to come as the trial gardens and butterfly garden are great to walk through. Early spring didn't have much in those areas, but the gift shop has lots of interesting garden-related items as well as clothing and household items. Also has a variety of plants to purchase as well as interesting pots and outdoor sculptures (could have SWORN that the saguaro and barrel cacti were real!). They also have a building with preserves of all types, honey, wine, etc.
The seed farm was very nice. lots of plants and garden items. The wine shop was a nice change well worth the time
Heading into Fredericksburg we pass Wildseed Farms. This place is full of plants, pottery, wind chimes, a plethora of seeds and so much more. You have to have lots of time and good walking shoes to see all they have to offer. The people are kind and very helpful. My favorite time to visit is in the fall when their poinsettias are in full bloom. It is a beautiful sight to behold.
I expected to see beautiful flowers and lovely plants at Wildseed Farms and was not disappointed in the least. The seed room alone is worth a visit. What was a delightful surprise, though, was locating several cute cats lounging throughout the shop. Any place that has a feline elegance for ambiance is a place I will return to again and again. And I do!!
Everytime we visit Fredericksburg, stopping by Wldseed Farm just north of Fredericksburg is a must. Our annual trip to the area is in May and the flowers are in full bloom. There are so many different kinds of flowers to look at...it's amazing. The shop is filled with all kinds of unusual items. My wife loves browsing through the dress shop which carries many items that you don't see in any of the other stores. If you don't visit Wildseed Farm while in Fredericksburg, you will have missed one of the best days of your life. Oh yes...bring your walking shoes. They also have a resturant.
