Great park to just hang around and walk. Wonderful for family picnic. Very green with lots of nice viewing areas of water and wildlife.
One of the best parks in and around Fresno. Nice place to take kids as they would certainly enjoy feeding the ducks near the lake. Excellent park for people who want to walk or jog on a regular basis and for families who want to go there for a picnic.
The trails are fun from the park going down near the river ...prices way too high for no attractions in the park ...
Lots of space in this park. Easy to have gatherings of small to large sizes (with reservations.) Open and big enough to provide respite from the city.
此处的景色优美,气候舒适。简直就是慢跑者和脚踏车运动者的天堂。公园里面的步道也适合全家野餐和散步的好地方。
The park is clean and kept up, most of the people visiting the park are pleasant. The dogs love the doggie.park ; although the ducks have a tendcy to be aggressive sometimes, they love to be fed!
Quite a lovely park with things to do for everyone. Bike paths, playgrounds, BMX course, dog park, river paths, LOTS of wildlife, lake with geese and ducks, fishing pond-stocked regularly. Want a nice picnic by a stream? Got that too...Japanese gardens is a delight with the koi pond meandering throughout. Sure wish we had more parks like this in the area. Don't miss it!
Wonderful place to walk, let the kids feed the ducks and have a family gathering. Tables set up to have your favorite BBQ, or Party. Well maintained and manicured place to take short or long walks.
It's a nice place to spend a sunday, the Japanese garden its nice but I think its kind of price for what it is
I'm staying in Fresno while my husband is here for work, and Woodward Park seems to be Fresno's one redeeming quality, the one thing that might give it an edge over Bakersfield for the two cities' constant battle for worst place in California. Anyhow, Woodward Park has various trails weaving throughout the park. The grounds are well-kept, and I felt safe on the trail. It's not just open to runners and bikers, but also horses in some areas. I was really impressed. It's free to park outside the park and walk in, but it's $5 to park inside.
