A small beach with some nice restaurants. You can enjoy the beach and also spend some time visiting the fortress.
This is one of the least visited beaches on the island of Santa Catarina, Brazil. For this reason, it is a great place to go. All the other beaches (all 41 of them) are also great, especially those in the East and South, but this one is special. There are a couple of bars where you can buy fish and drink caipirinhas (or beer), but the main attraction is the beach and the water, which is generally calm (not a surfing beach) and warm. Fishing boats come in occasionally and you can buy fish from them, but it´s not a big fishing beach like Pantano do Sul (another of our favorites). There is also a fort, of course (hence the name, "Praia do Forte"), but it´s not very interesting. It´s best to go out of season to avoid the large numbers of non-islanders that descend on Florianopolis every January and February.
Very nice, and calm. Three typical olds style brazilian, seafood restaurants on the sand. Food is very good as well as the caipirinhas drinks.
ótimo para curtir, para esportes radicais como parapent para quem gosta, uma bela vista. Só nao tem opções de quiosque, e o único que tem deixa a desejar.
This place is just amazing! Try to go close to 3 pm so you have time enough to visit before closing and you will see one of the most beautiful landscape during the sunset. Enjoy your stay and take lots of photos, of course do not forget to read all history about the place, its very interesting. after visiting do not forget to go to the beach because its a wonderful place as well.
Lovely beach, great view and surrounded by magical ¨morros¨ but extremely difficult to access by car or by foot because of the inclination - slopes to get there, the cars that were not 4 wd would skid and squeal when trying to leave the beach because of the inclination of the street, this mixed with the sand made a pretty dangerous combination.
Próximo a praia de Daniela entre Jurerê Internacional, muito belas as praias, e o requinte das casas de Jurerê faz você se sentir em um paraíso.
Praia super lotada com mar tranquilíssimo. É fácil estacionar no local.
Not too easy to find but worth the effort. You drive past Jurere International (which although it's a good beach and has lots of glamorous looking houses for it's rich weekenders lacks a bit of soul) and up a steep hill past the lovely old fort that's worth a stop in itself. Then down the other side of the hill to this pretty beach with a number of nice fish restaurants sitting actually on the beach. The water's great for swimming and all in all feels a good beach for a family.
