Very nice church it is beautiful from outside as inside. Really worth the visit. At night with all the lights it looks even nicer.
The church of stones is beautiful outside and inside. Worth few photos. Although most to think be old, it is new, having little more that 50 years. During the day is better for photos. The church is a reference in Gramado.
A igreja mais famosa é a de Canela mas esta é mais bonita, apesar de não ser muito grande, por ser toda de pedra e com vitrais que chamam a atenção, são muito bonitos
Gramado, the famous garden city in the mountains of Rio Grande do Sul State (the so-called "Serra Gaúcha"), has a beautiful and imponent Roman Catholic Cathedral. Its construction started as back as 1913, firstly in wood, and later with basaltic stones. Its tower is 46m high and impressive glass windows show different passages of St. Peter's life. Outside of the building, an open-air gallery displays statues of the Apostles. The church has a misterious light, due to the glass windows, which contribute to moments of introspection and reflexion. Masses are said almost daily and visitors are welcome to join the services.
Different architecture, beautiful front garden with statues of the apostles. Just aside the movies and in front of the covered street.
Centenary place, with centenary stone! Art to see and be appreciated. Spend some time there. About 1 hour or less is enough
The church is amazing. Beatifull lights make it kind of modern but it still have the old spirit in it. You must check yourself.Much more beatifull at night.
Localizada no centro de Gramado, considerada como ponto turístico da cidade. Na frente é possível ver as estátuas dos 12 apóstolos.
What a beautiful church. The interior is spectacular with amazing ceilings, chandeliers and stained glass windows. Conveniently located in central Gramado.
If you are catholic, check mass hours so that you can attend a mass in this church. Worth it! This will be a blissful moment amidst all the shopping and restaurants +chocolate tastings you´will attend. The stone made walls are something to be watched.
