i didnt like the long walk from parking to the building ..i would suggest maybe some type of cart to carry visitors that need it from vehicles
There is almost always something going on at the River Center, and a lot of it is free. Students play for audiences with no charge.
Another wonderful theater in Columbus, GA. There are no bad seats at this theater. Great shows a lot cheaper then Atlanta.
The RiverCenter is a great place for a concert or show. Bigger events end up in the Civic Center, but the RC is a more plush, intimate setting. The acoustics are good and parking and access is excellent.
If you have a chance to attend an event, you'll love this facility. Convenient, inexpensive parking right across the street. Before or afterwards, walk a few blocks uptown for dinner or drinks. Great location, right on the edge of the historic park district.
Wonderful to see quality shows come to Columbus. Loved the show would recommend it to anyone who loves this type of music. Live shows are so much more special than watching it on TV. So get out of your chair and put down the remote its time for real entertainment-live. Go see a show.Prices are quite high it would be nicer to pay less. Peaking was cheap but if you can park on one of the streets it would be so much better we had a very long wait to get out of the covered parking.Go to a show and support your local arts.:)
We have attended 2 different concerts here- Schwob orchestra and most recently their wind ensemble. Acoustics are fantastic and the design elements lend to a very pleasant environment. Can't wait to come back!
They bring in great shows but perhaps price themselves out of range for them. It is important to remember Columbus isn't Atlanta. Charging Atl prices won't make that change.
When it comes to theaters, the RiverCenter is the best. There are many acts, shows and performers who visit the RiverCenter. We have seen many shows here and are always impressed. I would highly recommend seeing a performance at the RiverCenter.
I have been to many events at the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts. It is an absolutely stunning building. It has great acoustics, good seats and it is always very clean and well maintained. There is also plenty of free parking close by as well as many restaurants of all price ranges.
