Great way to see the city and mountains. The ride was about 2.5hrs long, but the horses were well behaved and the saddles were comfortable. The view of the city and the mountains from the ridge you ride to is incredible and worth the trek. Our guide, Carlos, was very knowledgable about the city landscape and all of the wildlife. His English was fantastic and did a great job helping everyone out on the horses. After the ride we enjoyed a delicious asado and Carlos entertained us with some fabulous guitar playing. It was a wonderful Argentine experience, highly recommended.
I absolutely loved this experience. Although the horse riding was more of a walking-pace mountain tour, the views of Godoy Cruz, Mendoza, and Maipu were incredible. Then, the asado was some of the best meat I've had in Argentina, and there were delicious side-dishes too. The wine was never-ending, and the guitar show was great!
The tour was one of the best I've done! Don't expect to go fast on a horse because you're going up a mountain but once you reach the top it is absolutely worth the view! The team Santiago y Carlos are amazing and knowledgable and very nice. The food when you reach the bottom again is fantastic and the wine! Then the guitar playing and just everything was amazing. Absolutely recommended! Not to mention they are part of a foundation for kids with disabilities and low income families which they can explain more of as well.
The Sunset tour was great! We have been a small Group of 10 guests all mixed nationalities Our Tourguide Carlos took care of all of us and was guiding us very well through the beautiful landscape of Mendoza. Even for unexperienced riders like me - the first time ever on a horse! - the route was appropriateand not boring at all! The view was amazing! The asado + Wine after the horse riding was ready when we arrived back at the riding stable. It was delicious like we know it from Argentina :) and upvalued by the guitar Music played from Carlos as a really nice final of the excursion.I can highly recommend it!
The best day of our trip so far. Horse riding up on a hill through beautiful landscapes. And after that delicious food and wine. But don't forget to bring cash.
This was a very good experience!Carlos the guide was awesome!! The horses were calm and it was easy the ride them.
This was a really wonderful experience. I am not an experience horseback rider, but the horses were very well behaved and knew what to do without guidance. The ride lasted about two and a half hours but the view of the mountains made it worthwhile. Our guide, Carlos was very entertaining and knowledgeable about the culture and area. After the ride we had a delicious asado with some of the best beef you will come across. The night finished off with a sing along, led by the multi talented Carlos with the group jamming out to some American classics. All in all, I would say that it was a great experience and would highly recommend it if you are in the Mendoza area.
If you are not a proficient rider this is going to be one of the best experiences in Mendoza! I had such a great time!If you ride every day, you might find just walking the horses around a bit boring. On the other hand the atmosphere and the scenery is great!Get on that horse!
This was a great tour. Carlos was a super nice guide, the horses were well behaved, the scenery beautiful and the winery and bbq made for a perfect finish. And to give it an extra touch it is also for a good cause.
