Nice little executive course. Played on Sunday morning. Plenty of space.Restaurant was only OK. Would play again.
We've found this course to be in good shape and very busy so you are doing well if you play in 4.5 hours. If the tee times were further apart, the pace would be better. We purchased the card as we are here for two months, so the rates are reasonable. Lots of water on the course which has been good due to the very warm weather we have been enjoying. Price for a hot dog or sandwich at the turn are high, $6.00 for either.
Decent track in very good condition. Pretty flat with only a bit of water, lots of sand bunkers. Greens were in great shape and running fast. Only complaint is that the sand bunkers were extremely hard packed and crusty. Seemed not to have been raked in a while. Can't go wrong considering the price of $42 with cart. I would return.
Local public golf course. Well kept and somewhat forgiving except for the greens which were well kept but undulating to say the least. All in all value for money.
Called and made a tee time through the Pro-Shop. I Told them that I had a “buy one green fee, get one free” coupon. The gentleman on the phone said “perfect”. I asked what the green fee will be and I was told $69. (This is the posted rate on their website) We showed up to check-in and because we were using a coupon, we were told the green fee is raised to $102. When I told them what I was told on the phone, they were apathetic and just turned away to do something else. The course might be okay, but I will not give my money to such an ethically challenged business!
Great enjoyable par 3 exec course. In very good condition. Great value.Good clubhouse and service. The restaurant needs to improve back to its previous service and food standards
Excellent tracks for average golfers. Both short course and long course offer challenges and great holes.
I just played this course again just to see if I was being biased since I didn't care for it the last time I played it. This course is sooo over rated. Played on a Saturday midday in June. Obviously its hot outside so I ask for a cooler to put on the cart. The bar didn't have any so I had to go into the cart shack and get one (how sad).. After the front nine we went inside to find the bar closed (midday) and they don't sell drinks at the front office. So now we are out of drinks with 100' temps. We get to a hole that has a water jug and the water is guess what? Yep its 100'... Thanks Palm Valley as you have made it a definite never again trip at your course. Time for some management to step up as OB Sports is usually a good company. If you are visiting this course you had better bring your own drinks and cooler because they don't care about you or your health...
Palm Valley is a beuatiful, and well maintained course in Goodyear, AZ that offers both an executive Lakes course, and full size Palm course. Both courses are fun to play, and offer their own challenges. One of the more affordable courses in the Phoenix area, and defininitely worth a visit.
I hadn't golfed in four months so was quite rusty. The Fee is quite reasonable and the staff were helpful. The club was clean carts were in good shape the restaurant was clean and the food was typical on the run golf club food. The staff through out were helpful and pleasant.
