Good to know tourists can use the Center ´s amenities as well, and even more when visiting Cooperstown with young children. There is a great pool, a play area and even a bowling room !
We really enjoy outdoor activities but took a chance and visited the Clark Sports Center and it was really good. There was a variety of things to do and we thought it was quite reasonable.
We were here for en exhibition and show, but did get to see the entire facility. The residents of Cooperstown and ths surrounding area are very fortunate to have this facility.
This very upscale facility has everything. I particularly enjoy the indoor heated deep diving pool and go there as often as possible for my daily exercise. Annual memberships here are very reasonable.
Great place that makes Cooperstown easy for families. There is a place for kids to go after school with a wide range of activities untill around 9pm. The swim team for school aged kids is GREAT. There are many other sports teams for all ages and a full exercise gym, track and more. Clean and plenty of parking. It helps Bassett Hospital attract staff to relocate to the area. There is a small fee for day use if just visiting Cooperstown.
It's awesome go all the time. Summer camps tons of activities to do indoor and outdoor. The ropes courses are very fun as well as bowling and swimming great place great people, got to love it!
There was only a small fee for out-of-towners to play tennis there. The courts were in excellent shape and there was no waiting for a court time.
Basically, a great open space that works well for a Hall of Fame induction attended by 48,000. Not much to say about it. We were only in the outdoor field, so I have no idea what the building itself has to offer.
I'm living in Cooperstown for only one year and it's been nice to have access to such a great gym. It has a fitness/weight room, racquetball courts, pool, basketball court, indoor track (though very small), and numerous small rooms for activities and classes. They also have a climbing area outside (in the Summer), which is pretty popular. They have lots of after school activities for young kids, so it's pretty packed until 5-6 PM, but it's nice that the kids have somewhere to go after school. It's overall a nice gym and something that is fairly unexpected in such a small place as Cooperstown.Fun fact: they have the Baseball Hall of Fame inductions on the grounds here every year!
what an amazing experience! all these baseball fans from all walks of life converging on the little town of Main Street, America. So much fun. Lots to buy. And of course, the baseball hall of fame & induction ceremony
