The ever changing Smithy Pioneer Gallery just a few paces from flagpole in the center of Cooperstown exhibits excellent art from the entire Otsego County region and beyond and offers art classes. At this moment, the exciting oil paintings of Mary Nolan, "Sea, Land, Sky" are currently on exhibit and not to be missed as well as exhibitions of ceramics and other media. Take time for quiet time and a respite from the busy baseball mecca center of town to walk up Pioneer Street to the historic Smithy for a real treat.
