A fantastic collection of old cars, starting with carriages drawn by horses and ending with not so old formula 1 cars. A completely new building specically made for this purpose. Inside is a \n old street recreated including a nice cafe and shopwindowa with items like the development of the sparkplug. A must-see for car afficionados.
This is probably the largest and most unique collection in the world. You can get an impression of the collection via the internet site of the museum. So you can set your priorities if you want to.If you love vintage cars, you can spent here a day. But if you are here with friends and family, or just short in time, give it at least 2-3 hours for a good impression.
This is the biggest private collection of historical cars. They have lots of interesting things starting with carriages and up till the modern hybrid cars, not to mention various ones from the movies or belonging to famous people. For example, Alfa Romeo from a James Bond movie or a car from Elvis.I've been there a couple of times and it's awesome! And starting last year they also accept Museum cards :)
A very interesting museum with an unbelievable and varied collection of old and new. I spent about 4 hrs in total and I am not even e real car lover. The collection is amazing with cars I had never thought even existed. There is enough parking space for visitors and an attractive cafë/restaurant with a good variety of food. 14 euro entrance fee is not nothing but you certainly get your money;s worth. f.i. a Cadillac owned by Elvis, the aston martin from the film Goldfinger, racing cars, cars that belonged to a Maharadja etc....really a unique museum and I am Lucky enough to live 5 minutes from there. a really entertaining visit, a real treat.
Huge carmuseum. A must for carlovers. Starting at 1900 it covers the whole carhistory till today. Great place for kids also
What a collection to take u through time. Car lovers dream to see such a collection under one roof. Great way to spend a casual Sunday adniring the collection
If you love cars, this is the place to go. The collection is extremely large and varied and there are often special exhibitions. The entrance price is quite high.
One of the best collection of cars in the world. Has some rare cars also. Well maintained and organized place.
Aside from the memorable vehicle exhibits this museum offers far more - the collection of motoring art including the largest collection of F Gordon Crosby art I have ever seen, and the porclein and silver collections, the recreated Dutch street, and the fabulous external architecture are all truly wonderful. Allow yourself at least 4 to 6 hours !
If it wasn't No 1 on TA, I probably wouldn't visit this museum.I am not a car freak, and I went there skeptical. But I it blew me away.It is on 3 floors, you start at the top by a lift, and then you go downwards. The display is chronologically organized from the first late 19th century steam cars up to modern ones. I cannot tell the number, but it is measured in hundreds.Beside ordinary cars, you can see vans, fire brigade cars and trucks, special cars like James Bond movie cars, great politicians cars like Mr. Churchill's, singer's like Elvis, formula racing cars...topping with custom made cars that look like Bat mobiles.Beside the cars, there are a lot of memorabilia and stuff exhibited related to great grand prix races etc.Allow at least 2 hours for visit.
