I live close to this Casino, the facade looks great, that is where it ends. The place is packed with low class clients that are rude and lacking any class. The food is horrible at this location, you cannot even find a machine to play on. When you leave your clothes are ruined with smoke. They need to build a smoke free location, or ventilate this place.
I live in the area and visit this casino often. The first thing you'll notice when you exit your car in the parking garage is the powerful odor of cigarettes. The poker room is a good size and there's a good ammount of blackjack tables. The mongolian bbq in the buffet was awesome and be prepared for a shower when you leave.
Casino reeks of cigarette smoke. You can smell even before you get inside the doors. Very busy on weekends and you have to around to play some machines. Even though I have luck playing cards, I can only stay there for so long because of the smoke.
So I have gone to this location about a dozen times and have never won more than $20 at once and I always leave with no winnings. The machines are SO tight its not worth the trip, if you can't win anything there is not much fun in that. The machines rarely produce a bonus game even when playing MAX credits. The food court in the mornings is depressing. The get an egg sandwich takes about 35 minutes (at 6am) when all of the night players has awaken from sleeping on the machines. Very disappointing.
We visit here a lot and in the past we would win. Now days we have way less jackpot wins and the machines are so tight you would think it is impossible. The staff and waiters are rude at best and do not seem happy at at work. I think those big houses on the hill need some new Ferrari's in the garage and i am oaying for them.So until they loosen up the machines I would use caution while gambling here . Machines that were good for the last 5 years all of a sudden you can not even hit five dollars.Sad but I think I can last longer on a Vegas Strip casino then here. They need to prove payout persentage and need to be heald accountable for cheating there customers out of money.
It was a nice casino. Not a lot of penny machines. The only bad thing about it is that they don't start serving alcohol on school days until 5 pm. Which was really a disappointment. The staff were nice.
Decided to give this place a try for New Year's Eve. The best part of the visit was the buffet. All you can eat crab and lobster tails, yum! There were a few things that could have been better though. There were hardly any 25 cent slot machines, we had to search for them. I also get the feeling that the odds of winning there are low. When I go to Vegas, I usually can spend 30 minutes to an hour or more on one machine without putting any more money in it. But not here. They also did not have enough bars, the lines were super long. And depending on which bar you went to, the cup size was different, but the price wasn't. The bars on the second floor give bigger cups. Not too many hotels close by either. We stayed 15 miles away. All in all, will try another place next year.
You get many choices for food in the delicious Buffet that is reasonably priced. Always wide range of food selections and of course my personal favorite, Prime Rib is one of the best. You can't even try all the desserts for they have so many to choose from. On to entertainment, I enjoy a few rounds of Bingo, but the fun at the tables and machines are great. I love the Phantom of the Opera on the first floor. I always end my night with a turn on that machine and usually win a bit, onetime $850.00 on a lucky bonus pick. So many great machines on both floors as well as a great nonsmoking section on the first floor. You can enjoy some wonderful live music in the lounge on the first floor as well as have a nightclub feel to it on the second floor fun. I'll be back again next month to celebrate my birthday. San Manuel treats you great on your birthday with freebies and free money play & $10 off on food purchase from one of three great places there to eat. Overall I didn't mention the concerts or the tables or poker fun. You just have to come see for self. Fun times.
This place is smokey and they serve alcohol and you throw your money at the house odds. This is a casino. If you can't handle any of that, then don't come here. I played several .25, .50. and $1 machines. I won pretty good on just about all of them. It was a busy Saturday, btw. SM has all the machines that I tend to play at any casino, both new and old, and there are a lot of machines, good variety. If you can't handle being around serious gamblers, do not come here. These people come to play and win. There's no spa. There are no hotel rooms. You can't get a massage nor even a bloody cappuccino. This is a casino. I do think they need more video poker machines, but no matter, I won on all of the ones I played on. SM definitely needs more machines to cash your vouchers. I think there are some sore, pathetic losers on this review page. I have a strategy when I come to a casino. If you don't, you're not a smart player. I don't sit down willy nilly at a random machine. And I don't go to a casino if I'm not willing to lose my bankroll. This is gambling. It ain't always pretty, but it can be profitable and fun....even at San Manuel Casino.
Our first time here but have heard alot about it. Being a bingo player the lure of $1000 games is enticing. Unfortunately they only offer one session at 4pm which didnt jive with our schedule. But we did play slots so Ill review the options and payouts.I have to say we walked the ENTIRE casino twice looking for penny slots....nothing. I was shocked at seeing all my favorite slot machines all at .5 denomin which are .1 in every other casino. That means min 9 lines is a .45 cent bet....yikes!!While we do play high limit slots we NEVER start out that way in a new place. So seeing thousands of folks slamming max bets that amount to about $10 a spin and not seeing any jackpots paying out the 3hrs we were there....not interested in attempting much. We did play video poker which hubby did quite well. He hit like 10 or more 4 of a kind on 3 handed video double double so we left ahead like $300. But he plays cautious who knows if he played max? No royals to speak of.Bartender upstairs at Race Bar was awesome! He was speedy pleasant and awesome to talk to! All in All :Could be a fun place, bingo pays out well but slots WAY TO SPENDY. They need to consider adding more penny slots. They give you $20 free play to start so good incentive to try them out.
