Really nice park to enjoy Manhattan's skyline. Visited Hoboken to pick up our rental car from AV** (cheaper than JFK/Manhattan/Brooklyn/Laguardia), then found this park nearby. Definitely worth a visit!
Got our subs at Fiore Deli just a few blocks away then brought them to park to enjoy the NYC view. What an unexpected find! The views are incredible!! Saw many couples and many families just strolling and enjoying the walkway.Of course if you walk expect to compete with joggers and bicyclists as it's a multi-use sidewalk. Parking is VERY limited. My wife has physical limitations and we were fortunate to find a Handicap Parking space but they too are limited. Overall a very enjoyable experience.
We walked through the park right around dusk. There were people of all ages, all walks of life over there. Great NYC view. Very peaceful out there. We didn't see anyone who looked like they were up to no good but of course be aware of your surroundings.
A lovely spot to get rid of stress of NYC.Fantastic playground for children as well. A scenic spot to watch manhattan.
Had a great time with my kids. Good serif activities for young children and a wonderful view for us to enjoy!
Pier C Park runs along the Hudson River and looks out over Manhattan. It is a beautiful area to walk, sit and visit, and/or play with the children. It is a well-designed and planned park. It has ample seating, wide open spaces, shaded seating, playground area (e.g., large slide), etc. The stunning views go from the Verrazano up along Manhattan to the GW Bridge. My husband and I love watching all of the activity on the Hudson – sail boats, cruise ships, ferry boats, water taxis, kayakers, and more! Few NYC tourists think of visiting Hoboken. This is a shame. It is extremely easy to get to Hoboken – bus, PATH, or train. If you want incredible views of the City and want to take some stunning photographs, Pier C is a wonderful place to visit. Once you are in Hoboken, there are many restaurants along Frank Sinatra Drive. There are also a number of fantastic restaurants on Washington Street. (Hoboken is only one square mile so it is very easy to walk around.) You can also bring a picnic lunch to eat at several parks along the Hudson River in Hoboken. Here's another tip. Go to Hoboken to have breakfast or brunch at La Isla Restaurant on Washington Street. (Omar's Stuffed French Toast beat Bobby Flay in Throwdown!) Then, walk over to Pier C. Enjoy!
This children's park not only has everything a children's park should have but it also has a view. Fantastic playground for children of all ages. Highly recommend it and there are only two entrances.
This park along with the adjacent Hudson River green space is a gem. You ge the best view of NYC skyline both day and night (best vista). Great for picnic, people watching, leisure stroll and jog. The only draw back is the occasional homeless people hanging around and the stench.
It's very nice weather you are riding your bike, jogging, laying out on the grass or taking the kids to the park. The playground is spectacular. It's very modern so kids have lots if fun. It's also big!
Pier C Park is besides Hudson River, with dazzling views of NYC skyline, wooden benches to relax and even a mini Central Park!!...The access to restaurants and cafes in Washington St, is barely a block or two away..Lovely spot to chill out and admire the greatness of The Big Apple
