Never tire of walking in this beautiful garden with the splendid elderly trees, native plants and beautiful rose gardens which is shared with tennis players, bowlers and frisbee golfers, a real asset to Queenstown. Please do NOT litter here !
Alongside the lake is a very nice garden. It is on a hill overlooking the town and lake. A stream runs through the garden which makes for lots of Photo ops. Along the shoreline is a Disc golf course. Nice relaxing place
都说是冒险家的乐园,不过对于比较谨慎保守的国人来说,尝试一下滑翔伞还是不错的,从山顶上飞下来的感觉确实难得。
In light rain we walked through the beautiful Queenstown gardens and were treated to ponds, the rose gardens and the fun of watching people play Frisbee golf. The trees are enormous and named which is always interesting. The park has well maintained paths, signage and lots of other activities to see. Relaxing and time well spent in Queenstown.
Yes a lovely relaxing and quiet place. A lovely flat stroll on the outside path which goes right round which gives great views across the lake. You can watch the old steamer going or coming back across the lake. The heathy people use this path to keep fit walking and running. All other paths to the rose garden, walk among the trees etc are uphill a bit.Well worth the effort if not too warm.
We walked around the outside of the gardens on a misty queenstown morning - such a stunning location, and a nice flat walk making it easy for anyone to do it. A small piece of paradise.
Bird watching, rose garden, giant Sequoias, hostas, duck pond, stone bridge, local plant life, annual gardens, benches, sculpture, hidden pathways, and bocce court. Beautifully maintained gardens, woodland, lake views and beachfront.
Loved the peaceful walk around the gardens with fantastic views of Lake Wakatipu and Queenstown. A must visit location finished off with a morning tea at The Bath Café beside the lake.
At every turn there is something new and beautiful to photograph in these gardens, especially with the sun shining low through the trees. Well done to all the gardeners who make this beautiful spot right in town.
