I was able 2 hang back while the kids went thru the maze. There is great food served & the property was clean. I felt secure w/ the kids going in on their own.Its a very neat place
This is a must-visit in the fall. It is so quaint and fun and it takes you back in time. A really fun place for kids, teens, and families. Fun date night as well.
The conditions of the animals are terrible. It looks as if they are not fed. They are living in their own feces, and cages are crowded. The surrounding area is not well taken care off. Dead cows have been left out in the sun with the rest of the animals on several occasions. The owners just don't seem to care, they are mistreating their animals and failing to keep a healthy environment.
This is the 3rd year in a row that we've taken our kids from Las Vegas to the Staheli Family Farm for the Field of Screams and Corn Maze. During the day you can come hear and go to their pumpkin patch and pick your own pumpkin. Cost was .30 cents per lb. They have alot of things for young children to do. We go during the day, leave and go to dinner, then come back for the haunted Field of Screams. It's a blast! Not recommended for the young. Our youngest is 13 and there are parts that scared him. One of our favorites to visit with is Wicka Dee Witch. Love her!
This year we came up from Las Vegas with my parents visiting from Arizona. I have my husband and two boys ages six and eight. The weather was great- cooler than average for the end of September. The cost is $6.00 per person for the pumpkin patch and farm playland, or $9.00 per person to include the corn maze. There is no discount for seniors or children which is too bad. We played for a while in the farm playland-the kids love the giant jumping pillow- and the petting zoo is fun as well. Then we took a hayride out to the pumpkin patch and picked out some pumpkins-they were in the patch but already cut from the vine. The last thing was the corn maze, a short hayride away. Great fun!
What a great place for Kids and adults. Our little ones enjoyed the animals who seemed fine in their cages and pens. They staff and owners treated us well and it was well organized even though it was busy and there was a wait. The prices are very fair and reasonable especially if you compare to other similar attractions in the state. I recommend this to all!!
I'm a teenager, and like most teenagers I like to go have fun with my friends on a Friday night....the farm is the place to be especially around October the "Field Of Screams" is soo much fun!! And the wait is DEFIANTLY worth it and they take amazing care of their animals can't wait to go spend all of October weekends at the farm this year only a few weeks left!
I was surprised how well the haunted corn maze was! I was actually scared a few times! It's a really fun atmosphere with lots for everyone to do. The owners are super friendly as well. It gets really busy tho! We waited forever to even get on the truck to go to the haunted corn maze and then waited another.. Forever.. To go through. Worth it tho. I'm glad we went and plan to go again!
Hello this is Sherrie from Staheli family farm...I was disappointed to see your review on trip advisor. As the business owner I first want to apologize for the inconvience of the long lines. We had a big increase in our visitors this season and were experiencing some growing pains. I appreciate you letting us know your feelings that helps us to know the areas to improve. This season we can see and started to make improvements. I hope I am safe to assume that your trip to the farm was mid Oct. .I know towards the end we did get better. We hope you will give us another chance. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. Sincerely, Sherrie
My family went to this family farm two years ago with several other families from Las Vegas and loved it! We missed last year but are scheduled to go with the same families this year. When reading the reviews I was shocked to read the July 2014 reviews regarding animal abuse. I couldn't believe this family orientated place would do this knowing they cater to young children so I called them and left a message. In no way did I expect a phone call back from the owner who was so gracious in explaining the situation. It was a newborn calf that happened to be stomped on by its mother (mother nature at its finest). The vet was called. This place is regularly inspected. There's no reason to be concerned. The farm has been in the family for 100 years and they care deeply for their animals, their family and their business. Please note though...it is a real working farm so be ready to get dirty!
