Joined the museum 2 months ahead of the visit and it was very informative that we had a docent to help with the tour. He covered the essential exhibits with lots of insight.
If you ever looked up, even once, when an airplane flew overhead, then you have to go here. Like all Smithsonian museums, it's free. You can easily spend the entire day here. You will be amazed. And In awe of what has been accomplished by man. And educated.
This place is is surreal. History right before your eyes. I would dedicate at least a whole day here. There is so much to see and it is very educational.
We came to D.C. a while ago and the Air and Space Museum was just like it is now. I love the exibits and old planes. I recommend coming here.
