A great golf experience for experienced or amateur golfers. Front nine is an awesome display of links style course and back 9 is wooded including the beautiful signature hole. You'll love this course!
I love this course. The great variety of views, the soft sand, challenging water shots, and front-nine links, back-nine wooded give you two different experiences. It normally will bring me to my knees, but I still prefer this course to any other, particularly if I can talk someone else into paying for it.
Very nice championship quality course open to the public. If you like challenging golf, with a friendly staff, this is the course for you.
Troy Burne features a great layout; no two holes even resemble each other. It is fair and makes you hit all the clubs in your bag. Multiple sets of tees. The course is always in terrific shape and well taken care of. Pro shop staff and starters are very accomodating. It is a great round of golf. Fall rates make it more affordable. We play it at least once every year.
Brought a group of 20 guys through here on a golfing trip. The staff led by Pro Dave were terrific and helpful and the course was a lot of fun. Th whole course was beautiful and in excellent condition. The back nine particularly stood out and reminded me of some mountain Colorado courses I have played. All in all, a great golf experience.
From the staff to the course, everything there was terrific. The staff went above and beyond expectations, even for an upscale course. The conditions there are wonderful. The course is set up so anyone has a cahnce to play to their own game and still be challenged.
I have play several top 10 courses in 2011 and this course is on par with all of those. I played here 20 times last year. Greens were poor early but came back by mid summer. The tips present a challenge.
I am blessed to live in Troy Burne and I LOVE it! Last year I hosted a golf tournament and then had a catered lunch at my home. It was so much fun that we are doing it again this year. This place is incredibly beautiful, well kept and the neighbors are all so incredibly friendly. We couldn't be happier. Oh, yeah and if you haven't golfed here... you really should, it's so amazing!!
This place is fantastic! Expensive country club feel without the snootiness and price. Reasonable green fees and helpful, friendly service. Well-maintained and landscaped without detracting from the natural beauty. Gorgeous holes with elevation changes and other challenges on every hole made playable with many choices of tees.I can't wait to go back!
My husband and I belong to a golf club in MN so we thought we would try this course, We both are good golfers but found this course to be extremely difficult due to SO MANY sand traps. The course was in excellent condition, so it was not that. We shot way above our handicaps. Not sure for the money we would play here again, no GPS, no sand on the cart and the course is not very well marked with distance. They don't even have a 150 pole or marking. Carts should have GPS for the price.
