I was in this place when we had our Gawad Kalinga Bayani Challenge. Timoga was one of the spots for the bayanihan race. I saw a lot of swimming pools with different sizes. Part of the challenge was to jump from the 16th ft. pool, and I think it was the highest that they have. Cool water and you cannot taste the chlorine that you usually taste from the other because it's from their cold spring. Low part, a lot of people that you will have a hard time looking for your own place. After the race, we asked our friend to stay their for at least few more hours to give our selves a dive and have fun with their slides.
If you want to just cool off or take a swim then this place is not to be missed! It is a definite visit for those who enjoy swimming. If you hate the crowd, there are other pools that have very few people but still have the same cold waters as other pools.
the water was amazing and very cold but the pool is poorly maintain and lacks of personnel to maintain the facilities. Food is not available you have to bring some foods. Be sure to bring your favorites drinks because the rates is very high. There are some roasted pigs at the beach area but be careful because some of it is not fresh. the entrance fee is 100 per person.
There are many pools located here and all are nice. The water is cold spring water which is really nice on a hot day and the admission price is reasonable. The only problem is there are so many people. It can be hard to get a good table and swimming without bumping into people can be a challenge, but it is a nice place.
since I was a kid, Timoga has always been the ideal destination for swimming parties, school reunions, friends get-togethers, and family outings. what's great is that the pool water here is flowing, unlike most inland resorts with stagnant water that gets dirtier as more people take a dip in it. Budget-friendly food are sold outside the gates. and even if you don't have private cars, this is very much accessible to public transportation as it is just alongside the national highway. Pool depths vary from as low as 2 ft for kids, to as deep as 16-ft for the adult "divers".
Love coming here. The water from the waterfall is clean and refreshing. Can get croweded at times which serves to show its popularity. It's a family friendly area and there's lots to eat and well maintained. Admission is cheap and there is plenty of pools to choose from. You will enjoy this place.
of all places I have gone, only Timoga swimming pool where I can find the best for swimming. It is flowing, fresh, cold, non-chlorinated swimming pool. Its entrance and cottages are paid to the minimum. It is along the high way, safe and best for swimming best kids and adults too.
This was a nice pool hidden away. If our guys didn't know it was there we might have missed it. The pool was very nice and well maintained. It had slides and other fun attractions for children. I did not swim, but took this opportunity to use their wifi service. Many in our group did swim and enjoyed themselves!
having lived in Iligan City during my undergrad, my friends and I used to come and plunged in the refreshing pools of Timoga. if you plan to visit Iligan City, be it with your friends, family, or solo, you should include Timoga Cold Springs in your must-visit list. best to visit on summer but be prepared for the crowd.
This is a true oasis very clean and well kept. You see all types of groups here and everyone seems to be truly enjoying themselves. A great place to while away the afternoon and enjoy a picnic bring from or you can purchase across the road from small markets.
