Very good mini golf place, very good holes very nice workers. Must go back good deals, must go to the others too.
Just down the boulevard from our stately pleasure dome is the Smuggler's Cove Adventure Golf complex. My bride and I have been meaning to stop in a play a round of putt-putt golf ever since we moved out here to the beach. We finally made it to Smuggler's Cove yesterday and we had a ball. Actually, we had two balls; a purple one for her and a lime green one for me. I haven't enjoyed this activity since playing Goofy Golf at Panama City Beach a million years ago.Not only was the game fun, but we also got our exercise for the day. There are a lot of stairs to keep those leg muscles in shape for running the Gasparilla Marathon next month ... in our dreams. The most challenging hole was the nineteenth. We had to kick those dadgum gators out of the way before we could get to putting. Truth be told, we never did play that hole. The gators were not of a mind to move. Our total cost for the 18 holes we did play came to a reasonable $24.11. We were surprised and pleased to know that as Florida residents we get a discount. If you are a local, don't neglect to ask.Fore!
We decided to grab a quick round of golf. We were told that they were replacing four holes but we could repeat holes if we wished with a DOLLAR off of price. We agreed but couldn't replay holes because it was either hard to get to another hole or we had people behind us so we couldn't replay the holes. If they say that there are holes under repair, WALK AWAY. It's not worth it.
Nothing like spending Christmas in warm Florida. No hastle of buying presents. My family actually spent Christmas day playing miniture golf. Nice course, fun for all.
We had a great time playing here! Everything was clean and the staff was very nice! The course had a lot of variety which made our game that much more fun. We will be back next year!
Played here nearly everyday for 2 weeks, the last couple of days the course was under going re turfing of holes but we were offered a free game once the work had been completed. The price is a little expensive but it is well worth it, we have a 2 year old and its a great way to tire him out........ The course has 177 steps not that we counted them it says on the door before you go in to pay so it's a little taxing especially if you have had a few cocktails during the day. They have alligators in a enclosed space which you are able to feed if you want to at a price. We came here last year and played and no doubt if we visit next year we will come back again absolutely fantastic way to relax and have a laugh, as long as your not too competitive. Would 100% recommend.
We stay a few doors away from this lovely place. It is great fun to enjoy the surroundings, have a game of crazy golf, get to see (and feed) live alligators (very well looked after.....don't worry) and , usually, if you want another game, you can buy a second game for $1.99 (For 2 adults the first game costs $23.98). It really is tremendous fun and everyone gets along with each other even if you do have to wait a few minutes between holes on occasions, when it is busy. If you do have 2 rounds as described above, it is lovely to have a little rest in the club room and enjoy a soft drink and/or an ice cream. It's not an easy place for anyone challenged with walking. The nature of the golf is the ups and down of the holes and the crazy bits between.
Feeding baby alligators, what?! This place was clean, friendly and to feed those little guys was amazing
This is the most fun you can have for Mini-Golf!This is unique and challenging and was the best time I have had on this type of entertainment. Everyone loved the decor and the variety.
This is a really nice course. 181/2 holes and a practice starter green. The landscaping and decor is beautiful. The greens are very well maintained. I only saw 2 spots in the whole course that the turf was torn or weathered. The course was of quality difficulty. Lots of turns and bumps and rocks, etc. Little signs were present at each hole with a little poem on how best to tackle and ace the hole. There is quite a bit of uneven ground and stairs. Strollers are not permitted. It was a little expensive, $11.99 for 1 adult. Feeding the alligators is an additional cost and the "educational exhibit" advertised is comprised of 3 signs with some reading. You can easily see and photo the reptiles without paying to feed them 3 pellets with a fishing pole. Overall, a good tourist experience.
