We went here over the Christmas break. It was a great family trip. Loved the glow in the dark. Music was fun and a bit loud. Good for all ages but maybe seniors. I think it would be too loud for them. Loved that they did the little prizes and games. I wouldn't want to pay regular prices. I think they are average prices, but when you total up a whole family now days....I got a groupon and it was well worth it.
Pricey, but My family and I had a great time here. Fun for the kids and as a mom I even enjoyed listening to the dj play some old school tunes and danced while we played. We'd go back next time we're in town!
I am not a fan of mini golf at all but agreed to go because the remainder of the family wanted to. The blue light attraction almost had me changing my mind about mini golf. It's indoors and friendly for all ages. As usual it started out with fairly easy holes and progressed to those more challenging. The individual holes were creative and several were animated. We were there on a Friday night, the crowd was comfortably busy. Intermittently there were prizes awarded for those with certain colored balls or playing on certain holes at that time. Clothing and "teeth" were reflected in the blue lights adding to the fun. The employees were helpful but didn't get in the way. A great place for any informal event.
We had such a great time at Monster Mini Golf! We play a lot of putt-putt and we're always on the hunt for a creative course. My husband generally doesn't like indoor courses but we were looking for a family activity on a hot, steamy day and I had a coupon. Everything in the building is blacklit including pinball machines, golf score cards and pencils, the clubs and the balls. If you go, wear white. It's really fun to watch blobs of white moving around since you can't really see faces and non-responsive clothing. The golf course is laid out very efficiently so that we always knew where we were supposed to go next. The walls, bumpers, holes and decor are all blacklight-responsive and decorated really creatively. The design of the holes is creative and challenging enough to make the course interesting but not so difficult that we just gave up on any one hole. We had a great time and I bought another groupon just so that we can plan to go again soon. Bonus - we were not bothered by those pesky mosquitoes that like to hang out at golf courses that have pretty landscaping and water!
It is one thing to play mini-golf but a totally different experience to play "in the dark". Things glow, things move, people laugh. And the best thing is that it is not subject to weather, since it is all indoors.A great way to spend a cold Winter day - pretend you are in the tropics or "down at the ocean".
Went here with a living social coupon. Good activity on a rainy day or maybe in the summer when it's 100 degrees. Kids liked the decorations, not the most challenging actual course but we'd go again. Small arcade area my kids sucked me into. Really pleasant young staff, seemed attentive to a couple birthday parties going on.
We went here with our 12 and 14 year old and it was perfect for them. The course is challenging but not too difficult. There was a 30 minute wait for our tee time but we just played arcade games and had fun. I like the way they space out golfers so we're not waiting behind other groups and someone isn't waiting behind us. We had a really nice time and plan to come back. They offer a military discount also!
Keep an eye out on groupon and LS for coupons and deals but even if you don't have a coupon, it's worth the admission price. Movable monsters and aliens try to distract you on the course but not so for this family. The staff made it more fun with extra contests. There's an arcade and places to have birthday parties. Easy parking. Restaurants and Starbucks right around the corner. Just down the street from Columbia. We are coming back!!!
Having an indoor minigolf option is always nice when the weather is bad - although that it can get a little crowded on the course. Small, dark (but with black-lights) and with pumping music, this is a great spot for a kid activity. There is a small arcade with a number of the ticket-dispensing machines that help round out the experience. Keep an eye out for coupons - they often have a good deal floating out there.
I purchased a groupon for this place and it was well worth the money! I've been too and had a blacklight golf party for my daughter last year in VA beach and it was nothing compared to this spot. The place is a decent size if not to crowded. The wall and floor decor was off the chain....especially the Frankenstein which popped up like every 10 mins. There is 2 party rooms for your child to have a party at and plenty of video game machines too. THey even had a prize desk, massage chairs and I even saw a coat rack....LOL Nice place to take the kids. I will be having my sons party here soon.
