Do give yourself an extra day to explore campus, the utterly fabulous bookstores and the surrounding city.
This was an interesting place to walk around, but is spread over a HUGE area. You cant access most libraries etc without being a student there.
Seriously the best part about Harvard was the architecture and feeling nerdy but the architecture for sure. The buildings are beautiful!
It really is a stunning place to visit, so big and the buildings are fabulous. Very interesting. You can get walking tours around it but I preferred to wander around at my own pace. An absolute must if visiting Boston
Check out Harvard's Arts Festival, usually held the first few days of May. What an amazing experience! Harvard students studying music, present dance, vocal, stage and instrumental performances in at least twelve different venues, including Harvard Yard, Memorial Church, and Sanders Theatre. It's a feast for the senses, and an opportunity to visit historic buildings. This all takes place in the middle of Harvard Square, the heart of Cambridge, MA.
Attending a week long course set in the Harvard Law School I was able to pretend that I was a student in the Paper Chase. exactly how I pictured it.
