fantastic scenery, great preservation of natural beuty, easy access, worth of taking a horse cart, walking is a source of inspiration there
Even though the weather was horrible we enjoyed our walk through the park and following the signs made our way to Muckross house which is a fantastic place to visit steeped in history and wonderful furnishings. Muckross abbey is well worth a visit and after the luxury of the house it is hard to take in the conditions that the monks of old lived in.
Going from Killarney to kenmare through here is spectacular in the rain. You have waterfalls far away; waterfalls close to the road; and in some cases waterfalls onto the road. It's a twisty road but there's a better vista after every turn. Sometimes we forget just how beautiful this country really is.
Def must do the Ring of Kerry by tour!! They tell you about the sights you are looking at!! Beautiful sights and worth the money
take the short drive to kenmare through Macgillicuddys reeks and be amazed by the outstanding scenery, rain or shine, History oozes from every old derelict shell wanting to tell you a story
You must do the Park in a bike. Beautiful and clean. Great time there. Bring your cameras and a coat beacuse it gets chilli.
One of the best National Parks I've been to! Access was easy and the trails were well maintained. There are easy paved walks or more interesting hikes for visitors looking for more activity. A wonderful way to see both the history and natural beauty of the area!
Castles, Waterfalls, Deer, native animals, Manors and much more in the National Park here. Great history and plenty of sites to spends days just walking through this spectacular area
A most amazing drive through the Park. Walks scenery and nature in one. Walks are well marked out for you. Just one nature trail after another. So pack the walk boots and water proof coat and plenty of water. Pay extra attention to the roads as they can be narrow and winding sometimes.
