Juan Carlos is a fantastic tour guide that provides personal service with in-depth recommendations on anything from hotels, areas to visit, and areas to avoid. His knowledge-base of the country spans further than Jinotepe but he has been all over Nicaragua. I'm staying in Nicaragua for a couple months and he has been by go-to person for all of my travels within the country. I asked him about how to travel safely to certain areas, where to eat, where to visit, where to convert my money, and he has been a great translator for me as well. He speaks English perfectly. Juan has been working with us on legal documents for our farm in Nicaragua. We have found him to be very honest and trustworthy. Also he has much knowledge of his country such as all of the attractions of Nicaragua. We received a dentist referal at an excellent price, introduced to house building contractors and meet his family. Juan is a licensed bilingual tour guide and he knows all the tourist destinations as well. Another service he offers is watching over peoples properties and farms while they are away.
