点评: This hotel was in a great part of town, and was a pretty old building. This hostel-style hotel seems to be popular for younger Chinese people traveling in China, but I would recommend a more traditional hotel. In our case, there was a group of ~15 students staying during our stay. All the rooms open to a central courtyard, and so there was no way around their noise that continued well into the night. This was made worse by the fact that although there was an air conditioner in our room, we were not allowed to turn it on, and so in order to have the room at a reasonable temperature, we had to open the windows that open to the courtyard. When I went to request the remote for the AC given the loud noise outside, the hotel staff instead asked the other guests to be quieter, which of course had no appreciable results other than making it awkward to be in such close quarters with the other hotel guests. Pick a more traditional hotel in the old quarter and I guarantee you'll not pay much more, and you'll be much happier.
