Great scenery. Not the adventurous trail we were hoping for.Great day i think for those who are just wanting a little fun.
We were there in Dec 2014 just at the time when the "winter typhoon" hit. Marvin (who attended to our reservation) was very accomodating and helped us reschedule our session to another morning (even tho they were fully booked). Being the first group out there has its advantages: you get to see how pristine the landscape is after a night of snow. Halfway thru, you take a break to enjoy a cup of hot choc and with the engines off, you can really appreciate the serenity of the Niseko fields.Worth every penny!Note: there are a couple of ways to get to White Isle from the Niseko snow resorts but I strongly recommend taking the route through Kutchan (ie Hwy 343). We came from Niseko Village and the GPS routed us via the mountain road (ie Hwy 58) and after 40 mins of driving, we came face to face with a massive pile of snow blocking the road. No choice but to backtrack. The road to Kutchan is regularly clear of snow.
Picked us up at our hotel and drop us off in the woods below Hanozono where we jumped on a snow mobile and ventured out into the snow covered fields and woods. it was so much fun and Leo, our guide was great. It was snowing the whole time but the bike was warm and we had a blast. A hot chocolate stop in the forest topped off an exciting adventure. They drop you back to Hirafu when it is over.
Great fun but can be very cold! Add a little more clothing than usual as if going skiing an extra -5 deg colder as it was snowing when we went and out on the open fields it I suite exposed
It's our first snowmobile experience with kids. Tour guide was attentive and friendly. With the fresh powder and vast area, it was beautiful and unforgettable experience. Bring thick jackets as it could get real cold after awhile (sitting on snowmobile vs moving around).
After self driving to the snowmobile farm we were given a warm welcome by Chibu and his assistant, issued with appropriate clothing and taken out to the machines. We learnt how to use the machine in a controlled area before setting off on a trail. The trail is on a farm so is not extreme but still fun. Stopped along the way and alovely hot drink was supplied. After arriving back to base we were allowed some time on the machines around a track. Great fun. the guides were brilliant, took our photos and advised on getting to our next destination. Can throughly recommend
What a great way to end our trip after skiing. The guides were friendly and we had a most spectacular ride scenery was excellent and going over pure snow was fantastic. Would recommend for the more adventurous.
We booked the 60 minute snowmobile ride but there was a confusion and we ended doing the 60 min snowmobile and snow play, which we did not really mind as everything was great fun. HIghly recommended for anyone..young or old. There was a complimentary pickup from our hotel so we did not have to worry about finding our way to there. In case you need to rent jackets or pants or boots, it's also available but selections are of course limited.
After initial instruction you follow your guide through a track leading through wooded hills (very pretty) and end up in a very large field and allowed to tear around and race each other in fresh untracked snow for a while then continue on over hills and through shutes then track back again. Lots of fun and a thrilling ride. A little expensive bur well worth it.
Exhilarating, beautiful and loads of fun. You get it all. Trickier drives through forests, full speed big sliding turns in open fields, beautiful views and amazing scenery and untrodden landscape. I did the 90 minute 'Great View' course.
