It was just one of those typical modern stadia with no or little atmosphere. Drinks, food really expensive. Stadium is in the middle of a retail park so my advise is use the McDonalds, Greggs or other fast food outlets around.
The story of Cardiff with interactive technology. I especially enjoyed the stories told by the older residents of Cardiff, a great view into their lives in the past. Great for families and singles.
my third visit and still fascinated, especially by the film clips of things i remember. Also, some good books downstairs and plenty to interest kids.
wonderful stories about cardiff in the past people and places i can remember .nice place to sit and listen to the stories as well as interactive items which children love
really interactive and fun. friendly helpful staff. Amazing tiled corridor. tells the story of the growth of Cardiff and its significant particularly as a port. Great for place to take young children.
Slap bang in the middle of Cardiff's shopping streets you will find the Cardiff Story. On one side accessBle thru the TIC, on the other side it has it's own door. A lift is available. There is a lot to see: how C. came to be, how/when it was built and extended, who lived there, what did these people do, what did they believe in, etc. There are movies, pictures, artefacts and all together the make for a clear picture of C thru the ages. There was a special exhibition where people could think about C. in the years to come. Demolish, build, renovate, extend, shrink, more homes, more work, etc. Etc. This was part of a wider discussion and all over town there were attractions/exhibitions with this as a central theme. Very interesting
The museum is spread over two levels inside of the building housing the tourist information which includes a range of presentations including hands on exhibits detailing the people's story of cardiff. There are audio talks, video's, activities for families on the bottom floor
History was fascinating and well worth seeing the film. the Country has such a rich heritage past and present.
