This sweet park can't be beat! The homes surrounding it are lovely, the Rose garden is alsmot a city landmark. The romance lingers in the air heavily...unless I am picking up pheromones from the joggers...either way, it is an intoxicating place for lovers.
Oh my gosh a beautiful park with a beautiful setting of beautiful trees a Beautiful lake and ducks.A great place to bring a picnic lunch and have peace and beauty all around you.
Got some bbq to go and headed to the park. Found a nice picnic table in the shade. Took a walk through the rose garden. Close to the Country Club Plaza area. Nice place to spend some time, take a walk, relax on a nice day.
We visited Loose Park and Rose Garden with family and friends. The day was a perfect park day. James, a little, two-year-old son of our friends spent the entire time playing on the playground, kicking and chasing his ball, and playing catch with his Dad and our son-in-law. The grounds were beautiful. Although most of the roses had already bloomed for the year, there were still some that we were able to enjoy in the Rose Garden. The park had many visitors and was the setting for a few functions, including at least two Garden weddings. This is a lovely park and should be a part of your Kansas City visit.
There was a lot of activity in the park. People walking about and taking photographs, etc. We went in November so the fountains were off and flowers out of season, but it was still very nice. I would like to go back in the Spring or Summer. It's a nice park to get out and walk around for a little while.
Perfect place for our family pictures. We have also brought our dog here. Kids enjoy the park as well. Very scenic.
I never knew this little park existed. It reminds me of a little Central Park. And really, it's not that little. So glad we discovered this place!
Located next to the Country Club plaza in a historic neighborhood, great place to walk, run or pass time. Incredible old oaks and hardwoods. Great for alone, friends or family.
Great little park for picnic or BBQ, a walk, feed the duck, or go for a run on the track that circles the park.
My strongest memory of Loose Park is losing my first tooth in the park as a child. We always came to KC to visit family and the bazillion hour car trip from D.C. was always worth it once we saw the fountains and hit Loose Park. Now, as an adult living here I adore watching the seasons change in the park.
