Love it here we enjoy our vist here nice friendly people nice beautiful rooms looking farward comeing back nice rooms bed nice
Such a strong odor of cigarettes when checking in that I had to have my kids stand outside, and we all held our breath as we dashed between the elevator and nearest exit. Older physical plant. No pool. Was rated 3 out of stars on my booking site, but 2 would be a stretch. Shower pressure was strong but not adjustable and it hurt my son to wash under it.
Had lunch and the food was poor. Menu selection was limited.I will never return. I told the supervisor but they seemed disinterested so I will not set foot in that establishment again!!
Our family took 2 rooms across from each other. Decor is basic, but our room had a large patio. The kids didnt. It might be something to ask for. The beds are comfy and the a/c worked well and wasn't noisy. The bathroom is fairly big. There is a multi cup coffee maker also. There is free wifi. The employees are fantastic about any needs.
Excellent sports specials on beverages, food, atmosphere, et. all. It will be interesting to see if the fall 2014 football season has a Thursday night special like Monday night.
After scoping out nearly every casino in the tahoe/Carson area I was extemely fortunate to walk through the doors of the Carson Station, immediately we knew that we were in the right place. As I was turning 21, I kind of wanted a special experience in my first casino, and every single place we went to with the exception of Carson station was abominable, the employees everywhere else made me feel like all they wanted was to get off the clock. CS was different, they immediately gave us a sense of welcoming, they were very personal and genuinely seemed to want to make my birthday as special as I had hoped, and they certainly delivered. From the table games and charismatic dealers to the unique slots and comfortable sports bars, this place was fantastic, as if that wasn't enough, the food was the cherry on top, no pun intended. They offered much better promotions and service than anywhere else in the area, and I'm saving up to go back as I write this review. I would strongly and exclusively recommend Carson station for anyone in the area, weather you're a seasoned vacationer or just passing through, you're doing yourself a great disservice by not coming here.
The room was very clean and comfortable. The beds, linens and lighting were great. Can't say the view of the power station was that great but it was quiet and could not hear outside noise or hall noise. Recieved a breakfast coupon and it covered breakfast costs well. Outside was clean and felt safe.
The restaurant has good food at low price. Friendly staff. Live entertainment many nights and a local favorite.
Although I have stayed at motel 8's and found them to be good I HOPE the corporation that owns them and has now taken over Carson Station can leave well enough alone!!!! The salad bar in this restaurant has always been great It was still good this week, BUT a little less fruit and the potato salad and macaroni salad looked like it needed to be stirred a bit!! The mayo was kind of congealed on both!!! The staff was still friendly and service was good and the value is great BUT I am just a bit concerned!!! Will give it another try This was on a Sunday I know they have weekday specials sometimes!!!
I have been going to the Carson Station for 12 years or longer,Seen the old ways of management, to the New ways of management and what improvements,I'm pleased as punch, the Food is prepared to order, wait staff is very professional, female host very polite with a smile, kind words welcoming you to the Carson Station Restaurant, I have to say the "Cinnamon Rolls are homemade and are wonderful" .
