We visited the Planetarium while Christmas shopping for neices and nephews. Small place, but has a great selection for kids ages 5 and up who enjoy space and astrology. They have books, videos, stickers, games, puzzles, rockets and models.
This is a great spot for kids and family. There are many class field trips that take in this Planetarium every year.
See the stars in the day. VERY reasonably priced, if you call in advance you can rent the entire planetarium for you and your family for only $25. They'll give a demonstration, then show a 45 min. documentary with something to do about the planets, or stars, or who knows.. Be sure and reserve it early if they don't have anything public going on, and then CALL again to make sure they have it reserved for your visit.
Not many cities this size have a planetarium so this in itself is unique. The shows are interesting and fun.
Very fun. A most for grandkids or any children. It was very educational and the toys you are able to buy are so fun. I love the space goo. Does not stuck in carpet! This place was only 2.00 a person and very fun.
This jewell has been part of Casper's history for decades. A trip to the planetarium is a treat for school children and adults. Visit this place and feel how tiny you are to the universe. Then move ahead knowing you can add value to your own life and others! Enjoy this value and bring value! Conscious human beings can bring great things to life!
I've taken groups of kids as well as my neighbors and they have all enjoyed it! All the kids talked about it for hours afterwards! Also, I've got to the laser light shows, very fun!
My family and I visited the Casper Planetarium on a Friday, we saw the 11 Night Sky show. The show was fun and informational. We learned about the night sky, constellations, planets and stars. This would be a wonderful show for Kindergarten through third grade students, but my preteen and teenager enjoyed it as well. The planetarium has some interesting exhibits. It took us about a hour to enjoy all of the exhibits and the show. The small entrance fee was worth the stop.
The staff was very knowledgeable and the exhibits were fun for me and my 9 year old nephew!
We went to go to the Pink Floyd Laser Show and were very excited. We were dissapointed to learn it was sold out. Which was okay, but when we tried to ask the clerk about when the next showing was or how often they have them he was so unhelpful and bored. I shouldnt have to drag info out of employees.
