Wow this show was amazing!! I was crying from the moment it began. The singer touches you as soon as he opens his mouth! The guitars give you tingles all over your body, The dancers have so much passion and emotion!! This is a must see!
Great show that kept building right to the end. Would highly recommend this show for 1.5 hours of pure Spanish passion. Some comments about the seating but as I was on the edge if mine it wasn't a problem. Set in a colonnaded courtyard with seating and personal drinks table it was a great experience. The guitarists were individually outstanding but coordinated with the dancers, group and solos, the event was unforgettable. Treat yourselves.... You won't be disappointed.
We went here 25 years ago and saw the most stunning flamenco in a small underground bar. This time round it was open air in a courtyard which actually was beautiful, but the show felt rather touristy and not quite from the heart. Still worth a visit!
Booked for a Friday night in August while visiting this great city during August. TP reviews were good so we paid our 26 euros for each ticket and weren't disappointed. Great intimate open courtyard venue and good variety of dance music and singing. Show started at 10:30pm so even in August wasn't overly hot and the 2 hours went really quickly and held our attention throughout. Would recommend this show to all visitors.
We have been to a number of Flamenco evening over the years in Spain and the quality has at best been patchy. We had a strong recommendation for El Cardenal so I was hopeful that it would turn out good.We went on a Saturday night and the show started with two guitarists and two male singers. they were very good and obviously happy to showcase their commitment to and love of Flamenco. A male/female (Antonio Alcazar and Victoria Palacios) section followed...there are some videos on YouTube. Then there was an all female section before a break. the second have started with some spanish guitar, then more female flamenco before Antonio came back for a rousing finale! I'm very happy to give it a strong recommendation.
We came with our two teenage boys after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor. I've been to a professional flamenco show before ( at a Worthing theatre!) and I would say this was far superior. The old boy guitarist was amazing. The bearded singer sounded like one of the Gypsy Kings - in fact all the singers were amazing. And the dancing were stunning. The chairs I agree are poor. But the ambiance is great. The free drink goes down well but the bar is expensive (2 euros for a tiny bottle of water).Overall a great night out - the good reviews on here are justified!Out teenagers reviews - our 13 year old boy plays guitar and was blown away with skill of the guitarists. Our 15 year was tired & stroppy and wanted to go back to the hotel after the first half - so a 50% success rate with two teenage boys I say isn't a bad success rate. Also I think they will look back later and say it was an experience they will always remember
I have seen quite a lot of flamenco in Andalusia in the last few years and this is one of the best shows. The upstairs hall is long and sits quite a large audience in pairs with a table and a drink is included in the price. The performance lasted 90 minutes and included 10 performers and a variety of flamenco styles. It was relaxing and entertaining and also good value for the €23 ticket.
Thanks to the reviews posted on TripAdvisor, we went to see this show. The outdoor courtyard provided an intimate setting to enjoy excellent guitar performances, soulful singing and, of course, the electrifying dance performances. Seats are fine albeit stiff. Simply imagine yourself sipping a tall glass of cold sangria and looking up the stars on a warm summer evening. Granted that it may be a tourist trap, we certainly enjoyed the performances till the very last Flamenco step.
We were among about 30 people in the audience on a weeknight, so the show was quite intimate in the small theatre. Performance was at a professional level, included wine was acceptable. Not our favourite type of music, but we are glad to have seen a live show in an interesting venue. This particular show began at 9:30 and ended about 11:20 - just the right length. (No meal was offered this particular evening.) Hall was warm despite cold outside temperatures.
Great show with great dancers and singers The atmosphere is just perfect with orange trees under the stars very romantic At first my husband didn't t want to go as he is not a fan of this kind of things but honestly when we left he was glad we came !!! Do not hesitate to reserve it We had table 1 in front of the scene and it was very impressive Highly recommended 1hour and half of delight !!!
