Awesome product and Company!! Employee owned and managed that produces superior products distributed nation wide. From a modest beginning in a small garage to a state of the art facility that is both built sustainable and green, powered by renewable energy.....truly a model to be applauded!
As a native to Ft Collins, I know beer. While New Belgium is a great micro brewery, their dedication to belgian styles limits them. I have also never found their taste that appealing. For better all around beers and atmosphere, check out Odell's and Equinox.
If you do your in for a great treat. They have 2 beers that are excellent Ranger and Rampant full hoppy flavor and have nice full body. They also have a great variety of other brews for the un-hoppy fans. They take their brewing to an art no matter what style! If you like brew tours do not miss this one if your in Ft Collinsopen: Tuesday-Sunday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.They will be closed or have shortened hours on the following days this year:•Feb 7: Closed•April 22: Closed•May 25: Closed•July 4: Open 11 am-4 pm•Sept 5: Closed (It's Tour de Fat in Fort Collins!)•Sept 7: Closed•Nov. 26: Closed•Dec. 24: Open 11 am-4 pm•Dec. 25: Closed•Dec. 31: Open 11 am-4 pm•Jan 1, 2016: ClosedI have no associtation just a beer fan trying to give you the best information possible. Also, if you like Rampant and Ranger I would also suggest Mercenary from the Odell brewery a little expensive but very top class. Enjoy your travels
I love visiting New Belgium Brewing. There is always fun and laughter in the air, the servers are friendly and helpful and really know their brews. This is the best way to sample a variety of New Belgium beers at their freshest and coldest. If you visit Fort Collins in the summer, be sure to check out the outdoor movies they play. You can catch an old favorite on a blanket with some cold beer and some great local food from a food truck - that's what Fort Collins is all about. I don't recommend taking the kiddos for the tour, the sampling room or the movies.
Nothing exciting here; except the Taco Wagon in the parking lot. It was excellent! The beer is good; and cold; but the tour guide was mechanical and not very engaging.
I'm not generally a beer drinker by nature (I like light wheat beers and that's about it) but even so, this is one of the coolest breweries ever. New Belgium is known for their eco, community, and employee friendly practices and you get to see it all first hand on their free tours with tasting at the end. They have a pretty great bar if you don't want to do the tour AND frequently have some of the best food trucks in their parking lot. If you're here in the summer they also have bike-in outdoor movies. This is a Fort Collins must-visit business!
Having lived in Fort Collins for15 years, I have been to New Belgium Brewing many times. The atmosphere is great, the staff is more than helpful, and selection of beer is wonderful.
New Belgium is well worth a visit. If you can, tour the facility, taste the food, the brew, and learn how this company is committed to excellence and community responsibility.
Before you begin make sure you reserve a spot on their tour it is well worth the your time. From the history of the company to the different areas with beer tasting in each section. Tour guides are very knowledgeable and proud of the company they work for. Of course the beer is definitely a must before and after your experience. You find yourself wondering if they are hiring.
went there with office friends. Toured lasts for 90 min. Saw the introduction and process of beer brewing. I great place to test beer free of cost. Advance booking is required.
