Go to the water park in the off season and it's great. We had the place to our selves and very short lines for the water slides. The hot tubs are great. The area for kids to play in the splash area was great for our kids...they never got tired of it all day. We gave them a hamberger, fries and icecream from the food stand which was just ok and they kept going. The lazy river was great to just float around in. Upstairs was a 2nd hot tub and a bar for adult beverages. The wave machine was addicting...couldn't get enough. There is a small gift shop in case you forgot a bathing suit. Very close to decent dining (brew-pub) right outside the facility in walking distance...much better food!
Loved spending time here! The water slides were the best especially the big family raft one...Lazy river is fun for the little kids who wanna take off swimming...all in all a great time! Wish they had a big pool just for swimming but theres enough to keep you busy...food is not great
One of the reasons we came to here, great place, not very busy and warm inside! Loved it! They keep the indoor temp around 83 so even our 2 year old loved it. Lifejackets are provided in case you forget yours
Fun water park. My husband loved the surf rider!! The lazy river is nice and the slides are FUN!!! It would be nice if they had a little bit of fresh air moving through there. Other than that, it's so nice!
The park was a lot of fun. We stayed for 2 nights at the Silver Mountain Resort and after going out each day for day trips, we would come back and hang out at the water park with our kids. The water park was not at all crowded and was clean. The lifeguards seemed very attentive and helpful. There were enough activities to keep my 9 & 12 year olds busy for a few hours. The FlowRider (surf and boogie board) was awesome. The only problem was their 52" tall requirement for surfing. I measured my son before coming and he is over 52". They measured him against a mark on the wall at the front desk and he was clearly 1" below their 52" mark. I questioned it and they said it was accurate. The next day I took him to another measurement mark in the front office (they have 2 separate measurement spots) and he was tall enough! Hmmm.....I think they need to fix their measurements. I also had a doctor appointment for my son 4 days after returning and they measured him at 53" in bare feet. This may not seem like a big deal to the waterpark, but when I drive for hours to stay at a waterpark and I've told my son he can try surfing and the waterpark tells in (inaccurately) that he is not tall enough, it causes problems. Besides that, everyone was very nice and we would stay there again if in the area.
There is so much to do at this place. We tend to go here 2 to 3 times a year. I have 3 children and they absolutely love this place. Unless you are invited by a guess having a birthday party you have to book a room at the resort.
The water park was perfect. It is complete with over 50 indoor water slides and places for kids. If you want to relax in a lawn chair- then go ahead- let your kids run around. It is very safe. The people are helpful and very nice.
We visited the waterpark as part of our ski trip to Silver Mountain. It was a great way to enjoy snow and swim during the kids' midwinter break. We are from the Seattle area so had been to Great Wolf Lodge several times and this was a lot like it. Lots of spots for different ages and interests. My two boys (8 and 10) loved the water pool with basketball hoops and my 10yo keep trying the wave runner/surf board over and over. The slides are fun and you can go down with just two or up to 6 (warning, it's very dark in the tubes). The hot tubs up by the bar are quite toasty (nice after skiing) and the more family-oriented one was just warm. The lazy river is fun and not too fast. Unlike other water parks, you can see most of the area from the many table areas and it's an easy walk around the circumference. The only food options are typical heavy fried foods but you can get a salad and fruit cup if you want a lighter option. The signs said no outside food and drink but I brought in my own water bottle and the Lunch Bucket folks let me fill it from the soda fountain. Of note, if you go in the winter and stay at Silver Mountain Lodge, the buildings aren't connected so you will have a cold but quick dash to the park.
Really great for families. Didn't like the drain in the handicapped shower stall backing up clear into next stall over.
Having relaxed time on the lazy river and hot tub. Kids love flowrider and slides, there is a nice area for little ones. Food is not the best, but we are there for fun in the water after having fun in the snow.
