It is worth a look and a walk in good weather. Bring a padlock with you if you want to put your 'mark' on this landmark.
I've been to a few "love lock" bridges here and there but this one is jam packed. I visited with friends so I wasn't placing a lock but it was nice to watch people looking for a spot with their significant other. The huge variety of different locks and makeshift items attached to the fence is also interesting and makes for some good photos. A nice thing to combine with a trip up the triangle tower.
it is worth a quick visit to take a look, there is a huge and impressive amount of locks here, I have seen copies and mimics of this idea in other cities...but nothing to this scale. It takes a great picture! We were impressed.
We walked across this bridge on our way to the Koln triangle. I have seen many "love lock" bridges in other cities but this one had more locks than any other. We had fun reading some of the inscriptions and marvelled at the numbers of locks packed together. It is worth a look
If your in the area this is worth a look. We were amazed at how many padlocks you can get on one bridge and there were some interesting ones too. Great views of the river Rhine at the same time
Some may say it's just a bridge but spend a little time and read some of the locks. Some are funny, some are sad.Train spotters will love the bridge but one thing is for sure, if you go in winter wrap up warm because when the wind whips up the Rhine you'll know about it.Overall certainly worth a visit.
Just incredible and very romantic. Free, with increadible views of the river and riversides. Take your time to go from one side to another side of the bridge to see the different padlocks and other objects hanging there, and don't forget to put yours too!
Massive collection of love padlocks now along both sides of the bridge. Enjoyed a pleasant walk across it, spanning one of Europe's most important rivers.
go see the padlocks, take one with you to hang, great! It gets crowded on the bridge, great place for photos, tacky souvenir shops around here and the cathedral area as you would expect though
