Saw Les Miserables. Was a very good production. The theater is small, but very nice and clean. It has a refreshment area also.
For locals and tourists alike, Lamb's Players is my favorite theater in San Diego! Their seasons are always fantastic and range from classic musicals to thought-provoking new works to side-splitting comedies. The creative team here is simply amazing and everyone on staff is friendly and so passionate about what they're doing. When you walk in the doors of this boutique theater, you immediately feel like family! And the intimate size of the theater only increases the magic of every performance as you feel you are right there in the story with the cast. Nestled in the heart of beautiful Coronado, there are dozens of wonderful restaurants, bars and attractions; so why not make a whole day of it? And there is a terrific little cafe called Encore attached to theater where you can enjoy a savory panini, decadent dessert or a glass of wine prior to curtain. Do NOT miss out on what is sure to be a memorable night of theater!
this is the first time ever here, i was impresses! A local resident took me in mid-September on a Saturday night and it was an excellent outing. I do not go to plays so my reference point may be different than others, but I thoroughly enjoyed the show and the theater.
What an excellent musical performed by a talented cast! There are no bad seats in this rather small, intimate theater. The music and acting were out of this world. Made "going to a play" an event to be remembered.
Got free tickets from a friend to watch the les miz play and LOVED it! Great small atmosphere with good sound. The staff were great and friendly and the theatre was small but not too small. Seats were comfortable and there isn't anything to say bad!
After a lovely brunch at Peohe's, we were completely surprised when my brother - in - law pulled the car to the curb. I spotted a large poster advertising our favorite Broadway show...... Les Miserables! I wondered out loud if/when the play might be coming? Duh.......... we were totally SURPRISED as Sis Jan and Bro Tony blew us away with tickets to the show!!!!! The performance was OUTSTANDING, the cast very professional as was the orchestra. The theater is small with only 7 rows and every seat has a great view. We have seen this show on Broadway in NYC, Philadelphia, at the Philharmonic and our local community theater in Naples. Let me say..... this show ranked right up there with all of the shows! Very well done! Thanks Jan and Tony!!!! A gem of a playhouse on Coronado!!!
We have seen this play all over the U.S. and London, and were so pleasantly surprised by the quality of this production. Very well done in a tiny theater. We were so glad we went spur of the moment! All seats are good and we enjoyed it very much.
This small, local theater was the best gem in Coronado. The production was first class, the talent also top notch. I have been to many Broadway plays, but this one beats all! Very intimate theater, no bad seats! LOVED it.
This Theatre simply put offers fantastic high quality entertainment !! I always buy a play ticket when I am in town !!!
My friend and I saw Le Miserables here in mid-October. It was an enjoyable evening. There were three levels of pricing for the seats...we found that the mid-price seats were fine...comfortable and great views. Hope to see another show here again on my next trip to Coronado.
