Thank you for your kind words about Green Mountain national and it certainly was a pleasure to have you all the way from Virginia! While it is true of most courses, "Local Knowledge" goes a long way at GMNGC and we know your score will be even better next trip now that you know a few of our courses secrets! Thanks for playing and hope to see you again soon! Bobby Peterson - Operations Director
DT705 - We hope you'll take your "second crack" at GMNGC very soon and it was a pleasure to have you! Thank you for taking the time to write a review and "local knowledge" will certainly help lower your score next time around! Thanks for visiting Killington and playing at Green Mountain National! Bobby Peterson - Operations Director
Green Mountain National is a very well laid out course, utilizing the hills and valleys of the Killington area to best advantage. The course is usually in terrific condition, and the friendly staff will help you get off to a good start. The course can be played at any distance you choose, as there are five or more tees every hole. We are very aware of how a course treats the women players, and Green Mountain treats them well! No unreachable carries, or needing to "hit around" some area of rough or water. The price is very reasonable for a course of this caliber, and plays even better after you've been there several times. It opens some of its secrets to you, and is still a challenge. It is well worth an hour or more ride to get there if you're not in the immediate area. Make sure you make time to enjoy this kind of hidden away treasure.

We absolutely agree that "local knowledge" goes a long way here at GMNGC and can't wait to have you back. this time be sure to stop into Gracie's Grill for a burger or cold drink at the end of your round! Thanks again for playing and we hope to see you back soon!Bobby Peterson - GMNGC

Bobby Peterson - Operations Director
Andrea - Thank you for taking the time to write such a nice review of Green Mountain National and welcome to the great game of golf! You certainly picked the right day to play as the fall foliage is almost at it's peak. Maybe next year you could participate in one of our Saturday morning golf clinics or take a lesson with one our great instructors before you hit the course? We hope to see you back here at GMNGC very soon. Thanks again - Bobby Peterson
The course is beautiful and the terrain is challenging...the greens fees are average and the club house is small but nice. You MUST take a cart...walking would take ages and definitely tire you out (and hike the green mountains all summer long). GMN is well worth a round.
