There is alot spread out in the hill country and the staff was more than helpful with tidbits of info for families with small kids. Staff was excited and open to sharing stories and opportunities. This is definitely on the list for first stops
Was made very welcome here. I am also a geocacher and they have one on the premises . . . available only during daylight hours.
The lady was very helpful in telling us what to do and the places to see in Kerrville. She pointed out the many parks to visit along with other sights to take in while visiting Kerrville.
The ladies where very knowledgable and understand traveling with children. And although I was just passing thru made want to come back and visit Kerrville.
the visitor center staff gave reallygood restaurant suggestions, nice brochures, we were very pleased and ate at two of those they recommended
Mrs. Mary Heart Frost is such a sweet and very helpful lady. My 9 year old daughter was so impressed with her that she drew her a lovely picture for her to keep. This is a must see for visitors in Kerville.
My first stop in Kerrville was to the visitors center. The lady tending the desk was very nice and helpful pointing out places on a town map to see.
The lady on duty the morning we were there seemed to be very happy to help us. We were on a motorcycle trip so she gave us directions to a local motorcycle dealer that provided a good map, free of charge, that highlighted all the roads in the area that bikers come to the area to ride on.
Very helpful assistants working there...gave great suggestions of what to see and do in the area. Extremely generous in giving out maps and brochures. Both of the workers were friendly and knowledgeable of touristic interests.
Having not visited Kerrville before and needing info on what to do and see with the time we had and also addressing our likes and dislike. Visitors Center was just happy to help and also added info that we had not thought of. Wonderful folks.
