Nice fountain in the hearth of the city. Lots of restaurants and cafes are located nearby. The point of the singing part is the music which is played from speakers and bells. Fountain is trying to cooperate with rythm of the music...sometimes better sometimes not. From this place you can see National theatre and Saint Elizabeth's Catedral what is nice.Beautiful place for walk or sit for a moment.
This is a great place to just sit watching the fountain eating an ice cream (great ice cream parlour near by) on a nice hot sunny day.
I'm a hopeless romantic and I think this was very sweet. Beautiful colours and charming surrounding. It's just made Kosice even prettier, definitely worth to stop there.
Amazing place for many different moods. If you want to have a nice chat with someone, with atmosphere of dancing water but hidden in tree shades or just want to get deep into your own mind, thinking about anything, this is a great place to sit and stay for a while. If you want peace, come here in the morning, when main street is still a bit sleepy!
Great place to sit and enjoy the water and the music which seem to be synchronized. Note that there really is no singing, just orchestral accompaniment. Really quite an interesting attraction to sit and just enjoy.
It looked different outside. My guide told me this fountain would normally be singing; so I thought maybe it was thirsty, that's way? Soon there will be water and light and with it beautiful melodies radiating in spring and the kosicean summer:)
Fountain is in a lovely square. Easy access from the city centre. Lots of bars & cafes surround the square & it's a lovely place to just sit & have an ice cream We saw the fountain twice - wasn't playing music on the Tuesday we went to visit. The bells however are great fun.
Kids will probably like this, but I found the music to be annoying pretty quickly. The fountain is worth a look, but only on the way to something else. Luckily, there are lots of great things right nearby!
lovely area with easy access to bars restaurants and shops. fountain lovely on the night, spoiled a little during the day with a drunken clown trying to spoil everyones photograph. worth a visit as its a lovely area
Let’s get real! The fountain doesn’t really sing, as such. The water of the fountain goes up and down with the beat of the music, presumably via some computer program. It’s on the main tourist drag, and frequented by locals and tourists alike. We sat there for some time watching people photographing each other in front of the fountain… a nice way to spend a quiet afternoon on a sunny summer’s day. Just walk along the promenade and you will come to it.
