We had so much fun hanging out at this place. It's atmosphere definitely fits the surroundings. It is dark and has great local musicians. Very fun!
Had a great time! Lindsey is fantastic, friendly, smiley and efficient!Nacho is doing a great job!I would recommend a visit to anyone who is looking for a good time in a friendly environment!
Stayed over in Keystone on our tour through National Parks with Archers Cosmos (excellent tour). After a delicious meal in Ruby’s Restaurant next door, we were lured in here by the excellent music coming from the live band, a two piece of exceptionally talented musicians. The waiter behind the bar (General Custer lookalike) was surly and unprofessional to say the least. 2 waitresses behind the bar with him were, in contrast, very polite. The bar was not at all busy but the service was terrible. The waitresses served customers at their own pace. He was totally disinterested in serving any customers other than those who appeared to be ‘friends’ or maybe locals. He was extremely arrogant, very rude and dismissive of all of us on the tour, turning his back on us more than once when we kindly asked for his drinks recommendation . We were quite shocked at his attitude, bearing in mind the struggle bars have for custom these days. We thought maybe, as it was near end of season, he had had enough of being polite to Keystone visitors, who in fact pay his wages! But apparently this night was not an exception. He needs some serious customer service training and soon, before someone takes offense and gives him a bunch of fives! Or as the saying goes – if you can’t change the staff, change the staff!
We stopped just to have a few drinks and get out of the heat for a bit. Nice friendly staff, unfortunately we didn't get to see the show. Great experience though for the little amount of time we were in there!
Fantastic, don't go to keystone without having a visit here, the barmaids are dressed in fishnets and bustiers. Cocktails are delicious, service is friendly. I would highly recommend going here for a fun evening. There are live bands performing.
The Red Garter Saloon Western Comedy Show was one of the best things we have seen in a long time. The actors have a way of incorporating the audience in their antics and we laughed at what was said and what was not said but insinuated. We had a great time and it was a great way to enjoy the evening. My thanks to the actors!
We had a great time at the show. It was short & cheap--30 mins and $5 each and a good way to wait out a passing rain cloud! We had a few drinks, laughed and relaxed.
Great atmosphere, great (but understaffed) service with over-priced drinks. Great decor--lots of antique rifles and guns hanging on the walls.
We were walking from our motel "Brookside Motel" to see the main street of Keystone. There was a man 7'2" tall with a long grey beard walking down the street with a big wipe. We could hear it cracking against the pavement. Of course this made us curious. There was a comedy gunfight in the saloon (kid friendly). We decided to get tickets. Kids under 5 were friend. I think adults were 5 or 6 bucks. It was fun.. didn't last real long. Was worth listening to Jerry Allan sign a song or two and talk about the movies he was he. My grand daughter loved it as we ordered her a "shirley temple". Afterwards you can buy their poster or cd and get signatures. Look up these guys before heading out. You may recognize the comedians/actors. :-) We stopped by later in the evening to listen to a few songs. The saloon and the sidewalk deck that had tables was full. I will stop in there again on my next trip through.
We were traveling the Black Hills as a couple and spent one night in Keystone. We went to the bar to listen to music and had a blast. The drinks were well mixed and the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. If you enjoy a few drinks in a place that has character this is the spot for you!!
