that church has a soul of the present and the year of its foundation close to the old laval university firs catholic university in north america
Attended the 11:30 AM sunday mass-all french speaking but provide the readings in spanish and english. Really a beautiful church with many different areas to view-pictures allowed ---so glad we were able to attend the service and view the beauty within.
This is definitely worth a visit, the basilique is gorgeous! Also heated in winter (unlike European Cathedrals) which means you can spend a lot more time checking it out in winter!
This church is stunningly beautiful. It is free to go in and the artwork and the interior is magnificent. Take a moment after you go in and sit and let the beauty of the surrounding sink in.
We are not fluent in French, obvious to the greeter for our 9:30am Mass....but so warm and welcoming, the chorus amazing...beautiful chants.
Enjoyed viewing this church on a tour of Quebec City with a group of friends. It is very tastefully and elegantly designed.
Happened upon this church while wandering the streets of Québec City. From the outside, it looks like just another church - inside, absolutely beautiful! Visited early Saturday morning - inside was peaceful and quiet.
This is one of the nicer Catholic church and I was glad I went there. It had a good feel and is very part of the history of Old Quebec.
We were out for a walk in the cold and saw this church. On the outside you would have no idea what beauty is awaiting you on the inside. It was breath taking inside!
Was there for the close of the 350 year anniversary of Notre Dame - beautiful decorations, music and lights. Very, very crowded inside, long wait to enter, but once in, sat and absorbed the ambience and history
