This casino is decorated nicely inside, however the service is not good. We had to wait 20-30 mins to get a drink. Not good
My husband and I go to the brewery inside the Colorado Belle during NFL games. They offer $2.50 pints and some kind of wing special. So far, they have not been overly busy so the service is decent and the beer is good. i like the Stout and my husband likes their IPA. We even met the brewer who used to live in our hometown of Salida, CO. We go most Sundays.
We were in the Colorado during our recent visit to Laughlin in February. It seemed lighter and brighter since we were there last and we could see there is some renovating taking place. The ladies washroom was still outdated and "crumbling" but work is being done. The beautiful double staircase is breathtaking but currently leads to nothing. The restaurants were closed and there were no shops or anything up there. Beautiful views of the river in some areas and we love to watch the koi in the ponds out front!
The casino was great the first one where we didnt have to wait for an hour for the cocktail waitress to come back around. She was very gracious and when I ran out of change to give her a tip she was very nice about it. Not like some others at some of the casinos. The rooms were great love the space and beds.
Nice place and loose slots, still lost but it took longer. The place was clean and everyone seemed to have a good time.
We don't go here much anymore, there are other casinos in Laughlin that are maintained a bit better and give a better return for our gambling dollar. Not much has changed here in the last decade, other than the thickness of the dust on a lot of the machines and gaming tables. The tables are worn and tired, as are the dealers. It's not really 'fun' to play here (which is what we like) so you are just mechanically going through the process of slowly giving your money to the house. The only saving grace are the Loading Dock and Pints restaurants (at either end of the property). The food is relatively good at either location, with Pints taking a slight edge because of it's "pub house" style of food. The rooms are shabby and a lot of the older restaurants are gone, with empty rooms left behind. There are probably better places to spend your money, wish they would put some money into this place as it could be quite a nice location.
Casino is old and outdated. It is in need of major renovations. If you're looking for a clean and newer casino and hotel, this is not the place. The dealers are friendly and makes gambling enjoyable. Food at the restaurants there were good.
I read the review about it in my AAA book, and I was so excited about being in a casino that resembled a river boat. The place was not clean, and it had an odor. We were going to eat there, but after being in the casino a few minutes, we left. It definitely needs a makeover.
They are adding a new deli. This place is dated (think 1980's). They still have live keno and poker. Casino cashiers handle both the cage as well as the slot club. Long and slow lines. The four dining spots on the second floor are all closed (coffee shop, buffet, etc) replaced by one new place (The loading dock) and the Brew Pub. We used to love this place. Friendly staff when they come around.
rooms were nice and a little disappointed because no coffee makers in the rooms .but other then that it was not bad . but the loadin g dock buffet was good food ..
