Depending upon the time of year you go depends on the crowds. Weekdays are also less crowded than weekends. Either way it is always a good time on the Riverwalk. The casinos along the Riverwalk hold special events at various times throughout the year outside on the Riverwalk. There is usually music and food involved. It's usually great but there are usually crowds too. The Riverwalk starts at The Riverside Hotel & Casino and ends at Harrah's Casino & Hotel. The walk doesn't go straight through. From the Riverside to the Colorado Belle goes straight through. Then from the Pioneer to The River Palms is choppy. From the River Palms to Harrah's it is best to walk along the Main Street of Casino Drive. The Riverwalk pretty much requires walking through several casinos but not all of them. Regardless of when you go...the Colorado River is beautiful and the scenery around is beautiful too. Wear good shoes and use sunscreen because it is mostly in the sun. When not super crowded the Riverwalk can be peaceful and serene, a nice quiet place to rest, reflect, and commune with nature. I love the Riverwalk whether crowded or near empty anytime of year. There are 2 riverboats that go to the Davis Dam with dinner cruises available too, a jetboat that goes to Lake Havasu, jet skis that you can rent, and water taxis that go up and down the river to all the Laughlin casinos. Each is reasonably priced and enjoyable ways to get out on the river. You can't go wrong on the river. It is a wonderful place amongst a bunch of casinos. Kids will love it.
It's a nice way to enjoy outside and the riverfront. You can also do a little river tour and you get on the boat there. The river walk itself, it not continuous among all of the hotels, or between. But it's still nice where it exists and showcases the river well.
The river walk is just that a pathway along the river. Great place for an ealy morning run. Only downside is you have to go into the Colorado Belle Casino to continue the walk
great way to get some excersize walking on the river side of the casinos. nice landscaping in front of the Pioneer. enjoyed my walk
Nice deal, but not used by all. At places it is difficult to keep the river walk all as a single entity as it was probably designed. At Harrahs simply count it as not there as all you have is what they did at their place, no more, as they are down the street a fur piece.
If the weather is right it's a nice walk along the river.... goes all along most of the casino's along the walk in town...
It was marvelous to get away from the smoky casinos and constant clanging machines. Delightful to walk along the river meeting and greeting with strangers as everyone so laid back in Laughlin. Birds singing and flowers perfuming the walkway. Great getaway!
Looks and sounds like a good idea, but not all casinos are connected to the riverwalk. There is no way to get from Colorado Belle to Golden Nugget, and Harrah's is not on the river walk at all. The water taxi cannot get to 3 of the casino docks at low water flow (mornings) so they are out until after 1 pm.
We did this walk many times while staying in Laughlin. You can walk without getting bothered like Vegas with people handing you stuff.
the walk along the rive is a site to see. a must do thing on your trip to Laughlin. Its also free. You go right out the backdoor of the casino
