La puerta estaba cerrada, así que no pudimos ver el famoso Frontal del Pórtico. Sólo la vimos por fuera
Wonderfully preserved piece of sculptured art. Must do the guided tour in order to fully comprehend the magnificent content you're seeing.
We had seen a lot of cathedrals that week, but the lady who led the tour was very entertaining and made the tour very enjoyable. It just so happened that she was also the person who gave us great information at the Laguardia TI!The town is thoroughly enjoyable and worth the time to explore.
Very comfortable town to walk thru. Nota at all congested and everything in walking distance. The church was interesting but, again after visiting a dozen churches that week...it was fine.
You can only go inside the church if you are with a guide. It was hard to understand the guide as she did not speak English well & we could only follow along with the written info she gave us. The entrance before entering the church was quite spectacular!
If you are in La Guardia, don't miss the cathedral! The only way to visit it is to wait for the scheduled group guided tours, but it's worth!
Our tour was in Spanish, but they had an English brochure for us. The facade, protected inside the foyer, is beautiful.
this church, in that little town, you never espect to see something like that, Spain is full of nice surprises, and this is one of them, it really is
This is the most beautiful Church I have ever visited . From the outside it looks just like any other church in Spain but when you go through the doors it it spectacular. Unfortunately the only tour we could get was in Spanish but you dident need an interpreter to tell you how wonderful this church is. A must see when In Laguardia
You have to book with the tourist information office in the town to visit, well worth the visit
