This is a nice course with small postage stamp greens. however, it's most endearing feature would be the salmon spawning just off the 6th tee.
This golf course was originally estab. in 1927. The course is moderate in length and heavily treed. I enjoy the scenery and views especially in the fall when the salmon are spawning next to the 6th tee box. Lots of elevation changes between tees and greens on many holes. A great place to spend a few hours enjoying the outdoors.
Promo on website for twilight rates as of noon Mon-Thurs for $25 including cart! Awesome value. Course in great shape....few patchy spots on some fairways but considering the temps are often around 95+, it's no surprise. Ice cold beers serviced on ice too make for a great day of golfing!
Probably the best value for a meal in Leavenworth with generous portions. Excellent service.Very good German wine list. Hours fluctuate with winter and summer. Exceptional outdoor views with table service. Deer are seen frequently, with an occasional bear and cougar and Canadian geese from the balcony. Children friendly. Parking available, but varies with the number of golfers on the course.
This eighteen hole course is nestled in the mountains in the charming town of Leavenworth. It is a public course that is well maintained and very scenic. Fairways bounded by tall trees, good fairways and good greens. There are tees available for golfers of several levels. While not a championship course, it is difficult enough to appeal to good golfers and with using the right tee boxes, the starting amateur as well. It can be walked but a power cart is probably preferable. Rates are pretty reasonable and if you ask your hotel they might even have a discount available. Nice coffee shop on the premises.
The course setting is beautiful; not expensive to play after 2 pm.A racoon made himself seen along the river. Greens and fairways well kept.
We loved this golf course. it is clean, short grass, nice scenery, and even the critters. We had a raccoon jump into our cart and take my candy bar out of my golf bag. It was quite fun to watch. The course is within easy distance to where we stayed.
We had a business lunch here and wow what a view, and I was pleasantly surprised the food was great, as well as the service. The views were and are great!
Took the family cross-country skiing when we were in Leavenworth for Christmas break. We stayed in town. The golf course was very, very close to town and well groomed. Part of the trails go right by the river so it was a really beautiful setting. Being so convenient and close, it made for a great morning outing that they are still talking about weeks later.
We travel regularly to golf courses in the northwest - especially any place that offers a stay and play package. We didn't find a package for Leavenworth, but wanted to play the course so came anyway. The course has beautiful scenery all around and follows the river for much of the course. A very convenient location - a 5 minute drive from our hotel. We didn't feel it was a great value compared to many other courses we have played. We also look forward to enjoying a post game drink and lunch in the restuarant when we finish, but we didn't get to - they closed early that day so we can't comment on the restaurant. Luckily, Leavenworth has many restaurants to choose from so we just went in to town to find something.
