This place was pretty fun. A few of my buddies went there because they had a pool party. Good times good band. Plus they had $2 dollar blackjack. Cant beat that.
This review is for the Lake Elsinore Casino Hotel which is attached to the casino but not listed on TripAdvisor in the hotel listings.Myself and my wife stayed here during a 10 day skydiving trip to "Skydive Elsinore" during October 2014. The hotel was being decorated and refurbished as we were staying there, but the encumbrance decor was very 1970's.The staff were very helpful and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. The room itself was very big as was the en-suite, there was a vague smell of damp throughout the hotel, but as I said the whole place seemed to be getting an overhaul. The room A/C was good and both the bedding and towels were changed regularly during our stay. Good TV and mobile phone reception as well as strong free Wi-Fi.The hotel has a great pool and jacuzzi to relax in after a hard days skydiving, and this is open till late. There is also a casino which I didn't frequent along with a half decent restaurant (reviewed separately).Overall a good quality budget hotel, which I will be coming back to in the future.
I've been to this place since I was little, my dad use to take us to their brunch in their restaurant (never gambled here). I went recently and was surprised at how bad it has gotten. Since no on in my family gambled here I can't tell you much on that, but the actually building is not well maintained and the restaurant is pretty bad (it is cheap, which is how they get most of their customers I guess). The food is not very good and the atmosphere is just plain weird. I wonder if this place was always like this... The staff is usually pretty friendly, though.
The casino is small but warm and inviting. Dealers are very professional and yet make you feel like a local. Loved spending money in this establishment.
For ten dollars you get all you can eat breakfast/lunch, it comes with champagne and oj, and the food has been consistantly good everytime we go. They have a omlett station, serve crabs legs and make made to order waffles. It is a bit small and crowded but that proves the food is good. The staff works well as a tean and the chef even comes out from time to time just to mingle and assist. Worth trying!
the place was a real dump. I honestly expected to get shot in the parking lot. the staff was not very friendly and the games were not run very well. overall had a bad feeling about the place as soon as we arrived and didn't stop feeling weird until we escaped.
Mark,I would like to sincerely apologize for the quality of your experience with us during your stay. Our hotel is undergoing renovations and will be working on more of our casino side rooms, I am understanding to the dissatisfaction with the room. I appreciate your feedback, I will directing this issue to the owner to illustrate the urgency of our needed renovations. Our continental breakfast is usually located within our restaurant, with the exception of Sundays when staff needs to set up our buffet. I will also share your input with the restaurant manager to see if we can make improvements to our breakfast options. I am sorry that we failed to give you a positive experience.
I ordered the SIZZLING SEAFOOD PLATTER, the best on the Asian selections. The hot and sour soup was on the hot side but was good. A little too much cornstarch or thickener however. The sizzling seafood dish (highly recommended by our server) must have been cooked first and left on the burner top as the part that sat on the cast iron plate was burned from 1/4 to 1/2 of an inch up - not well done but burned black. Could not see it until one dug into the plate. It had a mixture of shrimp, scallops, and fish, and some vegetables - not identifiable because everything served in over thickened burnt brown sauce. The "fried rice" actually looked and tasted like steamed rice with the same brown sauce poured over the top. Found 2 nickel sized piece of scrambled egg - no onions, peas, carrots, or anything else in the "fried rice". Wife had the SWEET & SOUR PORK. Starter was egg drop soup and this was good. The pork dish was not. Tiny little pieces of pork in too much breading again thickened with too much thickener. Kind of looked like both dishes prepared and then just left on the burner and either burned or dried out/thickener got thicker as dishes dried out. The steamed white rice was steamed white rice and good. We would recommend the steamed rice and the soups only from this part of the menu.Service was very good and the waitress attentive. Did not send the burned food back as I/we had somewhere else to go and did not have the time to have it redone. We would NOT recommend you come to this venue to eat Chinese food. Lake Elsinore apparently does not have a good place to enjoy Asian food unless you like the China Palace fast food type places (even these places are better than The Lake Elsinore Casino however).
don't let the outside fool you ,great bar for sports good food and service, big screens for football ,you can order food ,good prices ,good drinks and lots of specials
This is just a card room with a few table games. Pachanga Casino is only about 20 minutes away and is a much better option. Don't bother!
