Have played this course many times on past buddy trips. Seems the summer weather just destroyed the greens. Large areas on every green with no grass. Tees and fairways in great shape. Many traps were a mess - liner poking through in many places. The only good news is we had the place to ourselves - guess the word got out.
Fun course. Well maintained. Great elevated tee boxes. We really enjoyed playing here. Staff was friendly and helpful. Par 3s over the water were fun.
Just got back from playing Season's Ridge on April 20th. We had a tee time at 9:30 am and were told when we got there we wouldn't be able to tee off until at least 10:15. Why?-Well they had scheduled us in between a group of 40 people in front of us and 30 people behind us. When I asked why we weren't told this before, they said they never tell people about these kind of groupings. Well of course they don't, they want my $56 to stay there and don't want me going somewhere else! Oh and by the way, the round of golf only took about 5.5 hours and we only played 14 holes before we had to quit. Did they offer us anything to keep us happy? Of course not, why would they do that?
Course In great shape. Very scenic. Good course for the average player. A lot of holes bowl shaped which is good for keeping the ball in lay but requires a lot of walking up and down steep slopes from cart path to green. Not very crowded this time of year. Will come back.
Played August, 2014. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of elevation that takes effort in hot weather. Pretty and fun course. Several sand traps were under repair, which didn't appear to be progressing quickly. Price was a little over $70 for a Friday afternoon. Price went down after 3:00.
I've played this course numerous times over the past 7 years. During that time the rocks in the sand traps have multiplied, as has the grass in the traps. Most bunkers are really mud traps, not sand traps. The cart path hasn't been repaired during that time either. On the other hand Seasons Ridge continues to ask for outrageous green fees, even while the course is empty most of the time. Why pay their fees, when there are so many well maintained courses in the area with lower fees.On the plus side, the course is fun, challenging, and scenic and the employees friendly
This is a tough course. Most holes have some sort of uphill / downhill lie. Some of the elevations are quite steep. Course is very well maintained. Take advantage of the afternoon rates.
The course has seen better days, I hope. The fairways are a sloppy mess, the cart paths are crumbling away, the sand traps are more like rock traps, and the greens are patchwork. There are much better options for your money at the lake to play golf.
It was a pretty course to play and staff was very friendly and helpful. A bit pricey for a weekday morning of golf. It was very hot and we were told the refreshment cart would be coming around, but it never did. We played the back 9 and there was only one spot for water, so make sure you take your own. It gets very humid in the Lake of the Ozarks. I would probably go back some day unless I can find a less expensive place to play.
Fun course! Tight but on the shorter side. Course was in good shape besides greens. Looks like they got a little burned up last summer. GPS on carts worked well
