It accommodated @ 60,000 visitors for an Int'l Convention of Jehovah's Witnesses. Many were homecoming; others were visiting. Rain or shine, the program went on, people raised umbrellas, all were encouraged by the information.
Liked staying at the Residence Inn, Largo MD.....so close to the FedEx field. The food at FedEx Field was great! Our seats were great also!
Attended Redskins Rams game December 7. Tailgating fans took up so many spots parking was difficult. Sat in 119/219 area where they are mounted, the speaker directly above my head was blown out so every song played sounded horrible. Seats were good although the sun glared facing us for most of the game, it was a pleasure since it was breezy and 45 degrees. Could see every play very well, just low enough to see above the folks down below a few rows that stand most of the game.
Nice stadium with reasonable prices for hot dogs, $6 compared to other stadium which are 8-12 dollars. Parking was very cheap compared to many other stadiums. We parked less than a mile away for only $25. In comparison, in Chicago we parked 2 miles away for $20 and in New England, Boston, Gillette field, we parked one mile away and that cost $50. Thr restrooms were pretty much like other stadiums and the ushers and security guards were very nice. We didn't have the best seats in the house, partially obscured with a pole but it was clean and people around us were very nice. This one was my 17th NFL stadium that I had visited and enjoyed my experience here very much
Wuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuwe...it's me yelpies!!! Oh this field is allllllllllllllllllllllllllll that!!! This was my first NFL live experience, and I must say...FeEx Field was the best introduction ever!! I loved everything about the stadium. I mean even the bathrooms were cleaned throughout the game!! The fans awesome, the food superb, the game (even those we took a L) it was action-packed. I saw the band and cheerleaders perform...I mean actually do routines!! You don't see all that on TV!!! The staff was super pumped and friendly. I even met Mr. Redskin...such a grand time!! HTTR Even if the Redskins isn't your team...go to the field for a game!! We had club level tix...awesome some more!!!! You stand up the entire game, but there is a ledge for leaning and eating... did me just fine. On the club level, you have the option of going inside in the lounge area where plush seating is throughout (wraps around the entire or almost the entire field). There are tv's inside you can still catch the game. The game even plays in the rest room...while youre concentrating you can still enjoy the game hehehehe...YJust go...HTTR!!!
Recently attended a Redskins game. As always, enjoyed our time. Staff is helpful and polite. To the people complaining about cost of food and drinks: It's a stadium. Is it expensive? Yes! Expect it and plan accordingly. You are not forced into buying food. Eat before, tailgate or starve. We have sat in lower level 100's behind the redskins bench, dream seats and endzone. Recommend all. Dream seats were a great experience however when they say unlimited hot dogs and drinks, etc., it's really until they run out so don't wait to eat :)
FedEx field is a massive, well designed stadium where the sight lines of most seats are superior and where if there is any viewing obstruction to the large replay screens, television monitors are located to provide coverage. Several years had passed since we had attended a professional football game and the crowds and the behavior of the crowd has not improved with age. Perhaps because it was a night game the amount of drinking and drunkeness was greater. The security staff did an excellent job of controlling the situation and after numerous warnings actually removed a number of unruly fans from the stands near us. Our teenage son was distressed to find men passed out and lying on the floors in the toilet and even more concerning was the thought that many of the inebriated fans might be driving home. So we left in the third quarter. Dining options for those with gluten sensitivity are nonexistent, quite a step down from National's Park.
My buddy has seasons tickets and decided to take me along with him to a game. We got there early tailgated before the game. The stadium isn't too bad its what I expected it to be. It's nicer than RFK. The club level area is nice and the seats aren't bad either. There are plenty of places to get food or drinks. and a nice big souvenir shop. The Skins lost but we still had a good time.
Despite the blow-out vs division rival NYG, a worthwhile trip to Fedex Field. Classy store, great food and a plentiful selection of beer/spirits.
Went to Eagles/Skins 12-20-14. Parking and tailgating was a blast. The game, not so much. Nice seats pretty much anywhere and the staff working the game were outgoing and friendly even towards enemy fans. Getting out of the parking lot after the game was a nightmare, took nearly 70 minutes but not much worse than anywhere else.
