A very nice and large park with plenty of locations to relax. There's even a small intimate Japanese garden space. A path encircles the park and is widely used by joggers and walkers alike. All in all a great place to start your day.
It's a beautiful place to stop and unwind. There are many trails, green grass and even a few chairs to rest on.
There is gang tagging all around this town. It smells of feces due to the mills surrounding the town. There are Hispanic gangs EVERYWHERE if you are looking for somewhere nice to live Longview,Washington is not it. I have lived here my entire life and watched these issues evolve. I can tell you i cannot wait until i graduate highschool and get out of here.
A really nice place to take a stroll...very pretty in a great neighborhood!! so its also nice to look at the homes in that area....
"The Lake" is where Longview/Kelso residents can enjoy a relaxing walk or bike ride. The July Fourth celebrations are centered here. Great place to take kids and just get outside.
The lake is an excellent place for the whole family. There are playgrounds for the kids, places to feed the ducks, bird watching and just places to sit down and relax. For those that are more active there is an excellent path for bike riding, walking or jogging.
The most beautiful park in any City anywhere on the West coast. there is a wide gravel trail that go's all the way around the lake. You can bike or hike. Several kids play areas including one that is fenced in. In the summer time they have concerts, 4th of July festivities. Green all year round.
Great Town. Tons to do Great Lake. very nice people. I lived her for over 5 years. tons of things for all ages.
Looking for an adventure? If you slow down on your run/walks you can view a lot of history. It's beautiful landscapes share information about what it is when it was planted or made. Just love coming here!
This beautiful park and lake is terrific for all of its various foliage which blossoms wonderfully in the spring and turns gloriously many-hued in the fall. There are always friendly folks walking, jogging or biking who will usually say "hello" in a traditional small town way.I especially enjoyed the Japanese garden on one if the many islands in the lake. The inviting seating areas surrounded by a serene stream, manicured Japanese maple trees and shrubs makes for a nice place to be still and enjoy nature and the environs.
