The natural slide and the pool are great to just swim and relax. We had a lot of fun there and it is very easy to reach from Lencois, for an afternoon of doing nothing! If you like it quiet, go in the afternoon, there are less people there usually.
Show, próximo a Lençois - trilha tranquila e saida tb para quem quer ir para a fumaça, por baixo. Tranquilo, tem uma área para escorregar que merece ser curtida.
natural water slide - you don't get that one often. try it, a little bumpy, but it works :)just don't drink the water.....
We were super lucky that on the last day of our stay in Lencois we met a couple of local Brazilian guys who offered to take us to Ribeirao do Meio, we never would have found it by ourselves otherwise. It's the perfect place to cool off, and there were only a couple of other people when we visited so it's quite secluded and tourist-free. Being a bit of a baby I was too scared to go down the natural waterslide. But my boyfriend did and as you can read from this he loved it! Thankfully there weren't many people to witness his bare bum!http://www.myhiddengems.co.uk/2013/07/ribeirao-do-meio-lencois-brazil-natural-waterslide/
although it's one of the most crowded waterfalls near the city of Lençois, it's a beautiful spot, with fun natural pools :)
Nice natural pools, close to the city. Avoid weekends and holidays.
Ribeirao do Meio Waterfall is about an hours easy walking away from Lençois, good for swimming.Nothing spectacular but ideal to alternate as a relaxing afternoon between the more exhaustive walks in Chapada Diamantina
Great for taking the children and any grown up child! A quick walk away from Lencois where a natural rock slide guarantees fun and lots of giggles!
An easy to visit place without a guide although a lot of people do it as part of Sossego trek. It is a gorgeous place and if enough water you can slide down the "waterfall", can get very crowded on weekends and on our last visit unfortunately a lot of people were littering (probably the only negative to the wonderful Brazilian people) and throwing their cigarettes into the river.
