Really loved the location and wonderful sand, lots of cafes and some shops. Disliked the limited parking.
Wonderful long sandy beach that is too large to get crowded and has miles of soft sand to walk, run and lie on.It also has abundant wildlife that adds interest including a large number of Pelicans. There are good public toilets, it's easy to park and there are plenty of places to eat to suit a variety of budgets and tastes. Excellent!
Visited Lennox Heads beach (near the surf club) twice in January 2015 - it really was paradise on the days we went. Key point of difference with Lennox Heads is the amazing freshwater tea tree lake literally across the road from the surf club beach - just perfect after a salty ocean swim. Bring some floaties! Please keep the place clean for the next time we visit - take your cigarette butts (and trash) with you. Such a terrific spot on the northern NSW coast. Plus the township has many dining and accommodation options.
We love the Restaurants in Lennox Head. One in particular serves Thai food and the staff are helpful and friendly. The Food is to die for!
Great spot for surfers 7 mile beach ( southern end) is so good for snorkeling. there is a spot protected from the crashing waves ( though at times current) Its not a coral reef, but more seaweed/rock.Been searching for a pace to snorkel from the beach for AGES! This was pretty good. Able to swim from beach. Watch your step - Loads of manta-ray / stingray, reef fish. I had great visibility. water not too deep. * best to do on high tide
We were at Lennox for a short break and went to the pub on New Years Day.....I was starving so went for the Burger and Fries Pub Meal......it was one of the best burgers I have ever had (except for mine)...you could taste the herbs in the mince patty and everything on it and the toasted roll was delish I even ate the chips...the only downside was my partner ate half of it
Like all Aussie beaches, this ones not different. Clean water, warm nice sand, huge waves and a whole lot of fun. Lennox Heads beach has loads of space and it stretches miles and miles.
Great surf beach and the best spot to eat Fish n' chips from the 'Bream Hole' watching the light fade as dolphins swam into view.
Lovely long and wide sandy beach. Just over the sand dune there is a large freshwater natural lake. Gorgeous.
Great beach for kids to swim and boogie board. Stay between the flags to be safe. Go to the boat ramp near low tide for a snorkel, we saw fish, stingrays and shovel nose sharks. If you have a 4WD, buy a beach permit and drive up 7 mile beach. Will be visiting again.
