Keeneland race meet is held April and October. The racing fans tailgate party before, during , and after the races. Most dress up in dresses, suits, and ties. Lots of fun for the experienced bettor and for the first timer.
Beautiful park-like setting with terrific viewing options for the races. Great food choices, just an all around great experice.
It's a great venue to visit. Fun to see all the people and the buffet was good with a good variety of food.
Lexington waits all winter for spring, but more important to them than the warmer weather, is the opening of Keeneland. For a few Dollars entry fee you get to be up close with the beautiful thoroughbreds!
We love everything about Keeneland. It gets really crowded, but it is an amazing place. I love the gift shop, a little pricey, but fun to browse.
More sophisticated, much more beautiful, and less expensive than its in-state rival track. Try the burgoo and bread pudding while you're there too. Even the beef hot dogs taste far better there than any other place.
The natural beauty at Keeneland, the closeness of the paddock, the fun of being around horse lovers is a wonderful experience everyone should experience. This is a month before the Derby.
Twice a year this is the happening place to be. Lots of people, beautiful horses, the excitement of betting and beautiful weather makes this a "no lose" experience.
Lexington is the horse capital of the world and nothing says it better than Keeneland. This is so much more than a beautiful racetrack. They have wonderful dining, scenery, history, gifts, etc. It's the perfect day with family and friends. A must stop and visit for everyone who comes to Lexington.
Keeneland has always been a destination for me and my friends for 20 years now. The atmosphere is great, the scenery is spectacular and they have food and alcoholic beverages. I try to go at least once in both the Spring and Fall meets.
